Joseph Caldwell | 6’3 Wing/Guard | Bloomington | 2022
Caldwell was a standout with his individual abilities during the drills portion of Session I and there was carryover as a versatile threat with his ability to operate on the perimeter and roam the interior for rebounds and putbacks. He’s an unsigned senior name that DIIs and DIIIs should take a look at out of Bloomington High in Illinois.
Anthony Robinson Anthony Robinson 6'9" | PF Christ School | 2023 State NC | 6’8 Forward | Christ School (Team Huncho 3SSB) | 2023
Robinson was the star of the show in the first session of Radford Elite Camp as he showed off his mobility, length and athleticism throughout the camp. His ability to finish and take up space as a defender was on full display during the drills portion of things and carried over into the 5-on-5 games as he showed he could handle the ball, make plays for others and finish with authority in traffic. He earned himself an offer by the event’s end.
Justin Burns | 6’3 Wing/Forward | Amherst County (Mixers) | 2023
Burns was another star of the show that put his athleticism and 6-foot-5 wingspan to the test as a shot-blocker and rim-runner. He showed he could create his own offense off the fastbreak with his ability to finish with authority, as he did on numerous occasions. DII and DIII schools should give this one a look.
Ryan Steger Ryan Steger 6'2" | SG James River (Buchanan) | 2023 State VA | 6’2 Shooting Guard | James River (GATA Academy) | 2023
Steger is a prospect you don’t want to leave open on the perimeter. He’s come a long way since first seeing him at the Chance Harman Classic two years ago, showing he can put the ball on the floor and make plays for others just as well as he can shoot the ball. LM D1s and HM DIIs should start tracking him closely over the next few months.
Elijah Mitchell Elijah Mitchell 6'5" | PF Oak Hill | 2023 State VA | 6’3 Forward | William Fleming (ESF UA) | 2023
Mitchell is another bouncy prospect that showed off what he could do at Radford Elite Camp during the first session. He showed off his ability to finish with authority on numerous occasions while using his 6-foot-6 wingspan to impact the game. As he shows he can knock down shots with consistency, look for his name to grow in VA’s 2023 class over the next few months.
Jayden Johnson | 6’1 Guard | Evergreen Christian (D1 Spartans) | 2024
Johnson was a name to know by the end of the first session at Radford Elite Camp. He showed good leadership during the drills portion of the camp and was a two-way presence on the floor that turned defense into offense quickly with his ability to make plays for others and knock down shots off the perimeter. He’s a name to keep an eye on in VA’s 2024 class over the next few seasons.
Malik Johnson | 6’3 Point Guard | Peninsula Catholic (Boo Williams EYBL) | 2024
Johnson was another lengthy floor general that stood out at Session I of Radford Elite Camp. He showed he could handle ball pressure and make things happen for others off the bounce while also maintaining his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter and midragne area as well. He’s a 2024 prospect with some upside in the state of Virginia.
Caleb Joyce | 6’2 Guard | Martinsville | 2024
Joyce was an intriguing prospect given his energy on the defensive end. Time and time again, he was showing how he could be a pest on the defensive end, using his strength to push up on opposing players and force turnovers while picking up fullcourt. He’s a prospect out of Martinsville for colleges to keep on their radar in the 2024 class.
Elijah Kelly Elijah Kelly 6'5" | SF Miller School | 2025 State #235 Nation VA | 6’5 Wing/Forward | Radford (Team Loaded NC 3SSB) | 2024
Fresh off a state championship soccer game, Radford High native Elijah Kelly showed off his game on the hardwood in a variety of ways at Radford Elite Camp. He showed he could play inside and out, finish with authority and fly around both ends protecting the rim and rebounding the ball. His development has come along tremendously in the state of Virginia as he’s quietly climbing up the radar as one to watch in the 2024 class.
Jamal Bremmer | 5’9 Point Guard | Evergreen Christian School (D1 Spartans) | 2024
Bremmer was an intriguing floor general prospect, especially given his athleticism when getting to the rim. He’s an international prospect with a fundamentally sound skillset that allows the game to come to him as he used his quickness to get by defenders and make plays for others around him.
Dominique Bailey Dominique Bailey 6'2" | SG John Marshall | 2024 State VA | 6’1 Point Guard | John Marshall (Team Loaded VA 3SSB) | 2024
Bailey was a floor general that showed off his ability to control the pace and get to his spots in the paint off the bounce. He showed he could co-exist with Anthony Robinson Anthony Robinson 6'9" | PF Christ School | 2023 State NC in the pick-and-roll game as they made plays during the 5-on-5 portion of games. He’s got some athleticism in his game as well that he utilized as a solid defender and finisher in traffic as well as a point guard prospect that hails from powerhouse John Marshall High School.
Kylon Jones | 5’9 Guard | St. Benedict of Auburndale (Team Thad Nike) | 2024
Jones was a young guard with some upside as a perimeter threat and operator off the bounce. He was quite the shifty creator on the perimeter as he showed in drills and during 5 on 5 games, concluding their final game with a made 3-pointer in sudden-death overtime to seal the victory. He’s a budding name to keep an eye on out of Tennessee.
Maksymilian Szambelan | 6’3 Forward/Wing | Evergreen Christian School (D1 Spartans) | 2024
Nickname Maksy; he’s an international prospect that showed tremendous athleticism and energy as a versatile presence on the wing and in the post. He met players at the rim in 5-on-5 games and showed off his ability to finish in traffic and knock down shots on all three levels. He’s one of a few names to keep an eye on at Evergreen Christian School.
