Organized by John Mosco (Archbishop Wood Head Coach) and Andre Noble (Imhotep Charter Head Coach), Philly HS Live II will once again feature a field that is absolutely loaded with talented prospects.
Below is a preview of five “must-see” games on Friday at Philly HS Live II that feature prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania.
Methacton vs. Notre Dame Green Pond: This is a contest of two programs looking to rebuild after major losses to graduation. The post Cole Hargrove (Mercury 1st Team All-Area & POY; Drexel commit) era at Methacton began last weekend and there were some bumps in the road. However, 3-level scoring wing Matt Christian, combo guard Cam Chilson Cam Chilson 6'0" | SG Methacton | 2023 State PA and long-range bomber Jason Lagana should be more than enough talent for the Warriors to continue their winning ways in 2022-23. For Notre Dame Green Pond, gone is longtime standout Brendan Boyle (PIAA 3A 1st Team All-State; NDGP all-time leading scorer; Kutztown commit). The Crusaders will look to Zach Rodgers and Colin Boyle to lead the program into this new era. Noon on Court 2
Sankofa Freedom Academy vs. Bensalem: SFA’s roster is deep with talent. If we had to name three players for you to keep an eye on, rising senior Zaki Alston, 2025 prospect Asim Hardy Asim Hardy 6'0" | PG Sankofa Freedom Academy | 2025 State PA and 2026 standout Nafise Dubose would head the list. When Bensalem has the rock, be sure to watch rising senior Jack Wineburg and 2025 prospect Jaiyden Moffit. Back in mid-May, Wineburg was a head turner at the HG Southern Jam Fest (VA). Also, during the spring circuit, Moffit was one of the top 2025 guards at the Big Shots- Philly Pride Tournament. 1:10PM on Court 1.
Neshaminy vs. Montgomery (NJ): Neshaminy is a squad flying under the radar. Their roster boasts a trio of prospects who will play at the collegiate level. Nathan Townsend (2024 / Mt. Pleasant Bulldogs) is a scoring guard who posted a monster spring circuit. Sean Curley Sean Curley 6'0" | SG Neshaminy | 2023 State PA (2023 / Philly Pride Bucks) is a 3-point sniper and Dan Raivitch (2025 / Philly Pride Bucks) was extremely impressive during the first Philly HS Live session. 2:00PM on Court 2.
Downingtown West vs. Executive Education ACS: D-West has one of the most talented and well-balanced rosters in the Philly suburbs. Point guard Dylan Blair Dylan Blair 5'10" | PG Downingtown West | 2023 State PA has been near the top of our Class of 2023 rankings for years. Fellow rising senior Jake Warren Jake Warren 6'10" | C Downingtown West | 2023 FL is a 6’10”, high-level center prospect. Plus, the Whippets have two 2025 studs — Donovan Fromhartz Donovan Fromhartz 6'5" | SF Downingtown West | 2025 State PA , a multi-skilled stretch-4 style prospect as well as high level combo guard Zeke Staz. Executive Education features 6’10” rising senior Moustapha Sanoh Moustapha Sanoh 6'9" | PF Exec Education ACS | 2023 State PA who posted a monster spring for Team Final Red and just received offers from Rider and Delaware State. Sanoh will get plenty of support from rising junior combo guard Rylan Muniz who is a lethal 3-point shooter. 3:30PM on Court 3.
Devon Prep vs. Lower Merion: This will be an intriguing matchup as it features a Devon Prep squad that lost a program defining player to graduation facing a Lincoln team that returns its core players from a successful 2021-22 season. At Devon Prep, rising seniors Lucas Orchard Lucas Orchard 6'4" | SF Devon Prep | 2023 State PA and Jacen Holloway Jacen Holloway 6'4" | SF Devon Prep | 2023 State PA will step into the lead offensive role vacated by Argel Pettit. Also, for DP lookout for shooting guard Ty Mishock Ty Mishock 5'10" | PG Spring Ford | 2024 PA (2024) and 2025 wing Zane Conlon Zane Conlon 6'5" | SF Devon Prep | 2025 State PA . Colon had a nice showing at Philly HS Live I last weekend. Lincoln will rely on a trio of prospects we have highly ranked — 2023s Naseem Wright and Rashan Locke-Hicks Rashan Locke-Hicks 5'11" | PG Math, Civics & Sciences | 2023 State PA as well as 2024 Naeem Colston Naeem Colston 6'5" | PF Samuel Fels | 2024 State PA . Wright posted a several outstanding performances at the first session of Philly HS Live. This spring Colston was a breakout star for the Mt. Pleasant Bulldogs 16U team. 8:10PM on Court 2.
