Jaylen Curry Jaylen Curry 6'1" | PG Calvary Christian | 2023 State #109 Nation FL – 2023 – PG – Boo Williams
Such a dynamic shot maker, Curry is very dangerous in isolation settings. Shot selection could use some work, but he’s the type of kid that knows the ball is going in every time he shoots it. When Curry stares down a defender, he has an obvious mindset that there’s nothing they can do to stop him. Curry can just dance with the basketball and put defenders on skates. He’s got a mean step-back game as well. When he gets to the bucket, Curry features a deep finishing package, able to just float the ball high off the glass and evade shot blockers. Defensively, he does some good things too. He’s got very active hands and anticipates well.
Robert Dillingham Robert Dillingham 6'2" | CG Donda Academy | 2023 #9 Nation CA-S – 2023 – PG – CP3
Seen Dillingham a couple of times now and he’s the real deal. The five-star point guard has some of the most electric and lethal handles in the country and it’s next to impossible for defenders to stay in front of him. The way he can stop and start on a dime is going to give college coaches nightmares next year. In a loss to The Family, Dillingham posted 20 points on 5-of-12 shooting. He also dished out three assists while playing just 24 minutes. Thought Dillingham responded really well to a couple of challenges from defenders as well. Guys tried to get under his skin and get physical with him after the play. Dillingham came down the floor and buried some triples before staring those defenders down.
Brady Dunlap Brady Dunlap 6'7" | SF Harvard-Westlake | 2023 State #100 Nation CA-S – 2023 – SF – Strive For Greatness
This kid has got some stuff to him. A top 100 prospect, Dunlap is a problem at 6-foot-7 with his above the rim ability and outside shooting. In a loss to City Rocks, Dunlap went for 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Liked that he was able to shoot himself out of a funk and didn’t let some of the misses that were piling up impact the other parts of his game. Don’t know if I see Dunlap as an early contributor at the power-five level, but given his lanky build and three-level scoring threat, I do see him as someone who can get better year after year and outplay his current ranking when all is said and done.
Quentin Duncan – 2024 – SG – BABC
Duncan led BABC to a big win over Phenom University. The 6-foot-4 guard posted 16 points and three assists Sunday night. He was 5-of-12 from the floor and knocked down four triples. The opposition was doing everything they could to get the ball out of Duncan’s hands at times to no avail. Duncan blew the game open and gave his team a double-digit lead thanks to his shooting. He created a lot of early offense for BABC, able to score after just a pass or two at times. Also a versatile prospect, Duncan looked like he could play three different positions on the floor.
Nick Janowski Nick Janowski 6'3" | SG Pewaukee | 2024 State #126 Nation WI – 2024 – G – Phenom University
Janowski and Phenom University cruised to an impressive win over Indy Heat. Following a game in which he struggled, water found it’s level as Janowski went 8-of-11 from the floor for a game-high 19 points. Janowski was in his bag early, hitting some ridiculous off-balance shots with defenders draped on him. One of the top shot makers in the 2024 class, Janowski is a fearless scorer with an assassin-like mentality. A true combo guard with an excellent feel for the game, Janowski also dropped three assists in short order. Janowski also had 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting Sunday night as well.
John Kinziger John Kinziger 6'0" | CG De Pere | 2023 State #257 Nation WI – 2023 – G – Team Herro
Kinziger had 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a win over BABC. With Team Herro trailing by four late, Kinziger connected on a huge 3-pointer that set up the game-winner the next time down the floor. While he’s known for his outside shooting, Kinziger was able to get to the rim effectively and score through the chest of defenders. At 5-foot-11, Kinziger understands how to neutralize a size differential by jumping into defenders. Able to do a little bit of everything on Monday, Kinziger also shot it really well in the final stages of the game to ensure Team Herro went out on a high note.
Cyr Malonga Cyr Malonga 6'10" | C Evangel Christian | 2023 State KY – 2023 – C – Boo Williams
This is one of the better rim protectors in the country. Malonga gets off the ground very quickly and is an extremely explosive leaper. The 6-foot-11 is a built kid as well that just sets a tone in the paint and forces opponents to play from the outside. A high motor prospect, Malonga was drenched in sweat just minutes into the game. He doesn’t take a play off, thinks every rebound is his, and really fights for second chance opportunities. In a loss to The Family, Malonga posted eight points, eight rebounds (three offensive), and four blocks.
Xzavion Mitchell Xzavion Mitchell 6'6" | SF Oshkosh North | 2025 State #119 Nation WI – 2025 – F – Team Herro
Mitchell was just a junkyard dog Sunday morning. In a win over BABC, Mitchell posted 13 points, six blocks, and five assists. Always extremely active on the interior, Mitchell not only controls the paint on both ends of the floor, but he also wins a lot of individual battles at the rim. Mitchell thrives in the high post area, able to catch and attack off a dribble or two. He’s also a very gifted passer. The opposition went to a zone, which suits Mitchell just well given his ability in the high post. The 6-foot-7 forward can really survey the floor and understands high-low passing. Not overly skilled yet, but Mitchell can handle the ball in the open floor. He’s already a beast now, but if Mitchell can develop a consistent jumper, opponents aren’t going to know what to do with him.
Milan Momcilovic Milan Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2023 State #44 Nation WI – 2023 – PF – Team Herro
Momcilovic has found his groove in the EYBL and isn’t slowing down. The Pewaukee star averaged 27 points per game in three contests, including a 30-point, six rebounds, and five-assist effort during an overtime loss to Brad Beal Elite in which Momcilovic hit a cold blooded triple to send things into the extra session. Saw more of a killer instinct and more physicality from the 6-foot-8 forward over the weekend. Thought he was able to bang down on the block and establish deeper post position than he did in Session II, setting up his fall away game. Momcilovic is extremely deadly when he catches in the high post and has an unblockable game, able to score fading away from the rim. Momcilovic also causes a lot of problems with his ability to run off screens and knock down catch-and-shoot triples from the perimeter. Momcilovic ended the weekend with a game-winning runner with 3.8 seconds left to lift Team Herro over BABC.
Declan Ryan – 2023 – PF – BABC
Ryan had a very efficient and effective performance against Team Herro. Despite a close loss, Ryan posted 18 points and nine rebounds on 6-of-8 shooting. The 6-foot-6 forward is an old school big that relies on patience, footwork, and touch around the rim. Ryan was very good at scoring over his left shoulder, hitting defenders with a drop step and a pump fake to get them on his hip and off the floor. Nothing really flashy or highlight worthy from Ryan. He just goes about his business.
Mason Williams Mason Williams 6'4" | PG O'Dea | 2023 State WA – 2023 – G – Seattle Rotary
Williams posted 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists in a Monday morning win over City Rocks. The junior guard was a blistering 4-of-6 from 3-point range. Williams just killed defenders when they went under screens. He was also very effective on reloads following offensive rebounds. At 6-foot-4, Williams played a lot at the point, which was pretty intriguing. Wasn’t always credited with an assist, but Williams got the ball up the floor and made great decisions. Given his shooting, the plus-length guard can also play off the ball and be a weapon.
