Davis Kern Davis Kern 6'8" | PF Linn-Mar | 2025 State #244 Nation IA (C/PF Linn-Mar)
Kern is a solid big who can play with his back to the basket or out on the arc. Now that his body is starting to fill in look for him to be much more effective down low. He is an active defender who does just fine when switching on a guard. His offensive game is smooth with his nice jumper and touch around the rim. Keep an eye out for Davis over the next couple of years.
Matthew Noll Matthew Noll 6'7" | PF Bishop Heelan | 2024 State IA (SF, Bishop Heelan)
Noll has been excellent at stretching out the defense and knocking down shots. He plays with extreme confidence that wears off on the rest of the team and gets them going. With his improved ball-handling his offensive game is nearing completion, with little tweaks helping him complete his game. Noll can guard one through five making him an elite defender.
Luke Meyer (F, S.C. East)
Meyer is a solid big who works out of the high post and the low posts extremely well. His hands are always active on both ends of the ball! Meyer has great court vision when at the high post, often finding his teammates for layups or open looks. He has the ability to score from the block and knock down threes. For his size, he runs out in transition great. As Meyer fills into his body he will be a dominant big man.
Emiliano Barrantes Emiliano Barrantes 6'9" | PF Grand View Christian | 2025 State IA (PF, Grand View Christian)
Emiliano will be a top prospect in Iowa for the next few years. He is 6’11 and is starting to grow into his body more and more. He runs the floor really well and rises up for dunks often. Defense comes naturally with his size and frame. He is athletic enough to switch onto a guard and not have to worry. When he gets it on the block he is patient in taking what the defense gives him.
Nitish Sankaranthi Nitish Sankaranthi 6'7" | SF Waukee Northwest | 2025 State IA (SF, Waukee Northwest)
Nitish is another one that will be a top prospect for the next few years in Iowa. He is 6’9 with elite athleticism and length. He scores with ease at all three levels. On defense is where he stands out the most, being able to guard one through five. His court vision is next level coming up with a few assists per game. Nitish has been playing up a couple of years this AAU season and holding his own just fine!
