<p>Another year of DC Live is in the books. Here we recap the event by highlighting our top performers from each team. </p>
<h5>Archbishop Carroll (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1259619" first="Emmanuel" last="Okitondo"] ’24</h5>
<p>He is a threat to double-double just about every time he steps on the court. Okitondo hit a game-winner and produced consistently.</p>
<h5>Ballou (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="957056" first="Teriq" last="Johnson"] ’23</h5>
<p>Johnson is cool as a cucumber on the ball. He is a difference-maker for his team.</p>
<h5>Bard (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1365123" first="Deangelo" last="Fogle"] ’23</h5>
<p>Bard was one of several contenders for this spot. [player_tooltip player_id="1419499" first="Damari" last="Thompson"] continues to play well also. </p>
<h5>Cesar Chavez (DC) | Taliano King ’23</h5>
<p>King is a good shooter who is efficient with the ball. He led his team in scoring.</p>
<h5>Coolidge (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1049865" first="Tre" last="Bolding"] ’23</h5>
<p>He is a dynamic guard. Bolding makes plays on both ends. </p>
<h5>Friendship Collegiate (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1413937" first="Keyon" last="Webb-Starkey"] ’24</h5>
<p>Webb-Starkey is a strong lead guard who is good at getting downhill. He also takes away airspace on the ball defensively. </p>
<h5>Friendship Tech (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1370494" first="David" last="Bumpass"] ’25</h5>
<p>Bumpass plays with great effort at all times. He is always hunting spots to be aggressive in a positive way for his team.</p>
<h5>Gonzaga (DC) | <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/thomas-batties-ii/">Thomas Batties</a> ’23</h5>
<p>One word to describe Batties? Solid. Does a bit of everything well. </p>
<h5>Hayfield (VA) | [player_tooltip player_id="1403962" first="David" last="King"] ’23</h5>
<p>King is Mr. consistent. His hands are like magnets to the ball. He also has a feathery soft touch. </p>
<h5>Jackson-Reed (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1127310" first="Rob" last="Dockery"] ’24</h5>
<p>He made winning plays. Dockery did not hesitate to put his body on the line for the team. </p>
<h5>Jefferson (WV) | [player_tooltip player_id="1310623" first="Jamari" last="Jenkins"] ’25</h5>
<p>He is lightning-quick. Jenkins was one of the better finishers at the event. </p>
<h5>John Marshall (VA) | [player_tooltip player_id="1259544" first="Damon" last="Thompson"] Jr. ’24</h5>
<p>He showcased a strong floor game. Thompson did what he needed to in order to help his team win. </p>
<h5>Maret (DC) | Amanuel Tucker ’23</h5>
<p>He is one of the more improved players in the area. Tucker provides interior scoring and helps his team control the glass. </p>
<h5>McKinley Tech (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="957046" first="Terrell" last="Webster"] ’23</h5>
<p>Webster makes the game look easy. He shot it well and competed defensively. </p>
<h5>Morgantown (WV) | [player_tooltip player_id="1310628" first="Sharron" last="Young"] ’24</h5>
<p>Young was one of the hidden gems uncovered at this event. He is a very good two-way guard.</p>
<h5>Patriot (VA) | [player_tooltip player_id="1310637" first="Nasir" last="Coleman"] ’23</h5>
<p>Coleman was one of a few Patriot players who played well in DC. Dezmond Hopkins and [player_tooltip player_id="1489085" first="Isaiah" last="Vick"] are also worth mentioning. </p>
<h5>Sidwell Friends (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="957022" first="Cam" last="Gillus"] ’23</h5>
<p>Gillus led a balanced Sidwell team to a perfect record. [player_tooltip player_id="1370500" first="Jalen" last="Rougier-Roane"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1127314" first="Caleb" last="Williams"] also excelled. </p>
<h5>St. Albans (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="1489028" first="Landon" last="Mills"] ’24</h5>
<p>Mills is a good shooter who was a go-to guy for his team. </p>
<h5>St. John’s (DC) | [player_tooltip player_id="957026" first="Malik" last="Mack"] ’23</h5>
<p>Mack continues to play at a high level. He looks more explosive than ever.</p>
<h5>Theodore Roosevelt (DC) | Ke’Mari Pointer ’25</h5>
<p>Pointer logged heavy minutes at the point guard spot for Coach Nickens. He got after it on both ends of the floor.</p>
