We have a lot talent here in Arizona that can add immediate depth and talent to a college roster. Here are some of the local prospects that I believe are offer worthy!

Brady Henige 6’11” Cactus AZ 2024

A versatile big who can bang inside and knock down shots from three point range. Moves well for his size, has good hands and a soft touch around the basket. Knows how to use his body to establish deep post position to abuse smaller defenders and has the quickness to blow by slower bigs. An adequate rebounder on both ends of the floor. Henige is a good passer out of the low post, whether it’s hitting teammates for spot up jumpers or guys slashing to the basket. A solid post defender but he really excels in help side defense erasing would be shot attempts. Henige is a solid prospect that can help a program and is definitely offer worthy.

[player_tooltip player_id="1062311" first="Kallai" last="Patton"] 6’4” Compass Prep 2024

Patton is a superior athlete that excels in the open court. He plays above the rim in transition and is effective slashing to the basket in half court sets. His length and athleticism allows him to be very effective on the defensive end. A good on ball defender who can guard multiple positions and he uses that superior length to deflect balls in the passing lanes. Has a nice mid range jumper, his overall game is beginning to round out well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1152187" first="Luke" last="Shaw"] 6’1" CG Valley Christian HS 2024

Shaw is one of the most intelligent players I’ve had the pleasure of seeing play. He plays with good pace and seems like he’s one play ahead of everyone else. He’s gotten better when he moves to the point, understanding when and where to find teammates and knows when to go get a bucket for himself. So a coach can actually plug and play Shaw at either guard spot and I believe he plays well. An excellent shooter and leader and a much improved on ball defender. A prospect you’d definitely want leading your team.

[player_tooltip player_id="992829" first="Gabe" last="Pickens"] 5’10” PG Millennium AZ 2024

Pure point guard with a nasty handle and great court vision. Sets the table for teammates and can go get his own shot when called upon. He has the ability to get into the lane and his strong frame allows him to finish at the rim with either hand. Possesses a nice pull up jumper and can hit the open three point shot. Can guard both guard positions on the defensive end and a tough minded player who doesn’t seemed overwhelmed in big moments.

[player_tooltip player_id="1162452" first="Grant" last="Woods"] 6’6” PF Gilbert Christian 2024

A power forward who can stretch the floor with his three point and mid range jumper. He has a sweet looking jump shot with a high release that helps him knock down shots on the catch or off the dribble. He understands leverage and has a nose for the basketball which allows him to be an excellent rebounder for his size. A good defender who’s able to hold his own against other versatile forwards. Woods is legit and will continue to prove that he is offer worthy.

[player_tooltip player_id="1124561" first="Mason" last="Villela"] 6’3” SF Gilbert 2024

A very smart basketball player who doesn’t play rushed. Villela has a smooth and efficient game. He knows how to pick his spots on the floor to make opportunities for himself or facilitate for his teammates. He has a great midrange game with beautiful shooting stroke off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations as well. A great perimeter defender with good length and instincts, this allows him to guard multiple perimeter positions. Villela is a very good prospect and the ultimate competitor.
