Battle At the Lakes: Top 20 2023 Prospects

<p>Who were the top 20 prospects I saw at the 2023 level at Battle at the Lakes?  Here is my order! And let me emphasize the word MY.</p> <ol> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962198" first="Taison" last="Chatman"] of D1 Minnesota.  Five star proven the last three months</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="939050" first="Darrin" last="Ames"] of Mac Irvin Fire  Ames is every bit the player that he has been advertised to be.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="969431" first="Kadyn" last="Betts"] of P.L.U.T.O. Prospects  The world will know soon that this is a top 100 talent.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962212" first="Boden" last="Kapke"] of D1 Minnesota.  Size, agility, skills to play inside/out, boards, top 150 nationally easy</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1060148" first="Gus" last="Yalden"] of P.L.U.T.O. Prospects.  First viewing in a year, top 150 national talent.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="956868" first="Pryce" last="Sandfort"] of D1 Minnesota.  His ability to shoot the basketball were as advertised. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="956870" first="Dallas" last="Bear"] of Iowa Barnstormers.  I fully believe this is a high major stretch four. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1205486" first="Jordan" last="Clayton"] of Mass Rivals.  If Clayton plays the way we saw this weekend, he’s surely a top 200 talent.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962200" first="Jack" last="Janicki"] of D1 Minnesota.  Just a shooter?  No.  More than that.  Shown at a high level this weekend.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="956871" first="Blaise" last="Porter"] of Iowa Barnstormers.   Porter is Iowa’s top guard.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962203" first="Tommy" last="Humphries"] of D1 Minnesota.   Love how consistent he was in all ways, reminds me of JOJ consistency last year.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1205491" first="Jayden" last="Ndjigue"] of Mass Rivals.   Good size, versatile, athletic, plays so hard.  Top 250 talent for sure to me. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962199" first="CJ" last="O’Hara"] of Gain Elite.  Forwards could not guard him all weekend.  Minnesota/South Dakota/Iowa talent couldn’t contain. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="963742" first="Isaac" last="Bruns"] of South Dakota Attack.  Special feel and always produces. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962206" first="Max" last="Shikenjanski"] of Minnesota Fury.  Clutch, again.  Best passer, again.  Led his team to wins, again.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962218" first="Nasir" last="Whitlock"] of Gain Elite.  Went head to head with top guards from WOTN and Barnstormers, and won.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1215322" first="Xavier" last="Nesbitt"] of Mac Irvin Fire.  Was impressed by Xavier in the games I saw.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1205477" first="Ta’quan" last="Williams"] of Mass Rivals.  Attacking guard that played really well both ways. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="962233" first="Matthew" last="Bothun"] of Minnesota Fury.  Stretch four that is the modern day four man.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1167686" first="Caden" last="Kirkman"] of Iowa Barnstormers.  Consistent low post scoring player that is a double-double threat. </li> </ol>
