39 points, numerous 3’s, and he scored from every level. Bruns got the Panther scoring started with a run-out layup. Throughout the game, Isaac would score in transition while weaving through traffic and finishing with hands in his face or on his arm. He knocked down multiple mid-range jumpers off the dribble. He was really tough when he caught in the middle against the zone. He was also spotting up on the perimeter when his teammates slashed to draw the attention of the zone. Rosenquist found him many times and Bruns buried dagger after dagger. He also hit 3-pointers with his deadly stepback move. Isaac is an active and smart cutter, he knows when to spot up and when to cut for good looks. He also posted up, drew a foul, and of course cashed in. Bruns is really really good at scoring off BLOBs and he did it again tonight. Isaac was the best player on the court and it is easy to see why USD offered/signed him. It was an excellent win for the Panthers and a masterful game for Mr. Bruns.

He has committed to USD for hoops and he will be playing with his older brother next year in Vermillion. Isaac has to be the best in the Dakotas when it comes to reading/using screens. Watching him use the screens, manipulate the D, execute perfect footwork and shoot the ball with perfect mechanics is a work of art! The Panthers had a perfect season last year, can they do it again? I would not bet against Mr. Bruns. This kid will shoot your heart out!
