I was in attendance all weekend watching the 15Us at Triton Central, and I was able to see some of the best talent from teams across the entire country. Let’s take a look at the Ohio standouts that I saw this past weekend.
Brody Buchanan Brody Buchanan 5'11" | PG Fairland | 2025 State OH – 5’9” SG – Fairland ( Mid Ohio Pumas – Harrington)
Burns is a small guard who has a ton of range shooting the ball. He would pull it from basically anywhere inside the volleyball line. He had a nice floater and strong finish with his left hand.
Luke Burns – 5’9” SG – ( Mid Ohio Pumas – Harrington)
Burns is a true spot-up shooter who was money on the catch and shoot all day. He kncoked down three triples in this one, including two back to back to help keep his team in the ball game.
Nolan Fedak – 6’4” SF – Westerville North ( Mid Ohio Pumas – Sever)
Fedak is a big wing who really excels as a cutter and slasher. He moves well without the ball, and he gets into the lane and has to finish inside through contact. He also distributed the ball well to his teammates. He was definitely the standout player for his team this entire weekend.
Maxwell Maurer – 6’0” SG – Fort Loramie (CLP Elite)
Maurer is a tough guard who always looks to attack downhill. He handles the ball well, sees the floor, and his touch around the rim whether laying it in or pulling up for the floater is pretty good. He also has a good motor that is always running when he’s on the floor.
Nohah Nichols Nohah Nichols 6'4" | PF Tri-valley | 2025 State OH – 6’2” SG – ( Mid Ohio Pumas – Harrington)
Nichols is a shooting guard with a good amount of size who really did it all this weekend. He plays with a lot of confidence, and he makes his living in the paint by attacking the glass or driving to the bucket. He also knocked down a triple late in the game.
Shea O’Toole – 5’11” PG – Turpin (Midwest Basketball Club Silver)
O’Toole is a smaller guard who really did it all this weekend. He is quick and always looks to push the tempo, and he is incredibly smooth with the ball in his hands. O’Toole also shot the ball very well with three triples in the game. Overall a great weekend from the young guard.
