The 16U age group is always fun to watch as you see new talent starting to blossom. Many players were able to stand out by putting their team on their back and getting buckets.
<strong>Chase Talich- NoCo Elite</strong>
Chase Talich the 6'4 wing from Cheyenne, Wyoming got countless buckets over the weekend. Chase has a nice jab step and a quick first step that allows him to burst by defenders. At the rim, he uses his athleticism and broad frame to finish above and through defenders. Chase also has a nice set jumper from three-point land and even hit some tough contested shots off of the dribble.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1369807" first="Tanner" last="Braketta"]- B&B Academy</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="1369807" first="Tanner" last="Braketta"] dominated playing up a grade level, the freshman was one of the most impressive guards in the gym. Tanner has a smooth pull-up game, he can shoot on and off of the dribble and was one of the best shooters at the event. He works hard when moving off of the ball, quickly moving around screens, and is always ready to catch and shoot.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1351364' first='Noah' last='Wilhelm']- Team Revenge</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="1351364" first="Noah" last="Wilhelm"] was one of the top sophomore scorers in Colorado throughout the high school season and is carrying over that scoring into the AAU season. From beyond the three-point arc, Noah has a very quick trigger and is always ready to shoot. He uses his good three-point shot to his advantage by getting defenders in the air with pump fakes.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1284588" first="Cohen" last="Edmondson"]- B&B Academy</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="1284588" first="Cohen" last="Edmondson"] and [player_tooltip player_id='1369807' first='Tanner' last='Braketa'] together in a backcourt are too much fun to watch. Cohen is the bigger of the two standing at 6'3, he is another guard who can shoot on and off of the dribble. He gets going downhill well and can finish at the rim or pull up mid-range jumpers.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1318387" first="Mac" last="Terry"]- CP Magic</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="1318387" first="Mac" last="Terry"] is a big shooting guard standing at 6'4. Mac has a great jumper from three-point range with a quick release. Off of the ball, Mac moves well and knows how to find the holes in the defense. He also has a nice floater and can score at the basket using his broad frame to brush off smaller guards.
<strong style="font-size: 1rem;">[player_tooltip player_id='1463541' first='Anthony' last='Medina']- Team Revenge</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id='1463541' first='Anthony' last='Medina'] is a football player who can also bring it on the hardwood. Anthony did a good job scoring from all over the floor, he has a smooth pull-up off of the dribble, can attack inside, and looks comfortable in floater range. He is a crafty scorer near the basket, often using floaters.
