First Team:
Theo Schofield Theo Schofield 6'5" | PF Waterloo | 2024 State WI — Wisconsin Academy — PF
Schofield is going to be one of the better prospects in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. He is a physical 6-foot-5 powerhouse who opposing defenders really struggle to slow down in the paint. This past weekend in Appleton, the power forward was excellent. He scored well around the basket and was dominant as a rebounder.
Micah Bays — Hopson Elite — PG
Bays was no-doubt one of the best 2024 prospects who competed in Appleton at the Madness In The Midwest. Playing for Hopson Elite, the point guard was very dynamic as a scorer. He shot well from deep and also used his speed to get to the rim. I liked how scrappy he was on the defensive end. The PG was making plays all weekend.
Dalton Spindler — Northern Lakers — G
Spindler had one of the best performances that I saw all weekend, regardless of age. In a win for the Northern Lakers, the guard recorded 24 points on ten made field goals. He scored well from everywhere and opposing defenders really had no chance of slowing him down.
Alex Loomis — Gallo Sports Center — SF
Loomis is a high-potential prospect that made a name for himself in Appleton. I loved how the small forward was able to score. Using his 6-foot-5 frame, Loomis was a matchup problem for defenders. He is able to put the ball on the deck and score well in isolation. He has phenomenal touch around the rim and also showed promise as a pure shooter.
Charlie Geske — Milwaukee Trail Blazers — G
I really enjoyed the overall game of Geske. The guard prospect is an intelligent player who always seems to make the right plays. He passes when needed and scores when the opportunity presents itself. He also plays very hard on the defensive end. I think that the Brookfield Central guard should continue to impress this spring.
Second Team:
Justin Jones — Gallo Sports Center — PG
Impressive lead guard who played up an age group this past weekend. Jones is a slick passer that can score well at all three levels. He is a player to know in the 2025 class.
Desmond Jones Desmond Jones 6'2" | PF Heritage Christian | 2024 WI — Pride Roc — F
I liked how Jones was able to score in the paint. The Pride Roc forward has a strong build which he is able to use to finish through contact in the paint.
Dylan Taggart — Northern Lakers — PG
Taggart was consistently great all weekend for Northern Lakers. Helping his squad to an unblemished record of 4-0, Taggart showed off his skills. I was especially impressed with Taggart as a passer.
Michael Bowen — Pride Roc — PG
Bowen was super aggressive all weekend. He never stopped attacking the hoop. And whenever Bowen slashed to the rim, good things seemed to happen for his team. Liked how he was able to finish through contact.
Matthew Nies — Wisconsin Hoops Select — F
A strong defender who can play terrific defense and score when needed, Nies was a major stock riser in Appleton. The forward is a prospect that I am going to keep an eye on.
Third Team:
Jack Lichter — Gallo Sports Center — G
Thomas Meyers Thomas Meyers 6'0" | PG Kimberly | 2024 State WI — Wisconsin Hoops Select — PG
Isaiah Kastern Isaiah Kastern 6'5" | PF Solon Springs | 2024 State WI — Northern Lakers — F
Mario Orta — Gallo Sports Center — G
Cyle Steffl — Wisconsin Hoops Select — G
