1. Christian Harris – Eitwanda 2024
Harris is definitely one of the top wings at the event. He has a lot of upside to grow as a wing scorer and as a defensive player. He can handle the ball and get to the rim. He finishes strong through contact and he can draws fouls and get to the free-throw line. He does a good job moving without the ball too. He runs the floor well and extends at the rim to finish over the defense. Defensively, he uses his length to disrupt the ball-handler’s movement and get deflections off passes.
2. Drew Pierce – Temecula Valley 2024
Pierce was one of the top three-point shooters at the event. A very good catch and shoot player who squares up well. He can also shoot the pull-up three in transition and hit step back threes in the halfcourt. Moves well without the ball and makes good dives to the rim; ready for the pass. He can also handle the ball a little bit. He is decisive off the dribble and keeps the defense off balance. He has a little playmaking to his game to on his drives to the rim.
3. Tyrese Lynch – Valley View 2024
Lynch is a player I’ve seen before on the PH Circuit last summer and he stood out then as a solid wing prospect and he’s definitely improved his game since then. He makes strong moves off the dribble and he was one of the best at the event at drawing contact and getting to the free throw line. His ball-handling is improved from the last time I saw him. Operates well in the halfcourt and can hit defenders with a step-back jumper.
4. Ilyes Lear – Etiwanda 2024
Lear is another solid wing prospect from Etiwanda HS along with teammate Christian Harris. He has solid upside too as a wing scorer and defensive player. He stood out as a good ball-handler in transition. He was able to handle defensive pressure and get up court. Does a good job attacking downhill. When he gets into the paint, he can finish through contact. He has good length and all the tools to be a good on-ball defender.
