There were quite a few teams from around the state in the building as well some teams from out of the state and even an organization from outside of the country. Over the next few days, we will share some of the most impressive players that we saw throughout the day and the prospects that have a high amount of potential.
South Georgia Elite 2026 Wing Chris Perry: One of the most impressive performers on the entire day, this young prospect has plenty of the tools that is needed to be a special prospect. He has the height and wingspan already, standing at close to 6’5, and he made plays on both sides of the court at a very high rate. Attitude wise he was always positive with his teammates, coaches and even the officials, which is very impressive for a player that has not even begun his high school playing career yet.
WBC Elite 2025 Guard Rodmik Allen Rodmik Allen 5'10" | PG New Hanover | 2025 State NC : If you didn’t know already, this young man is one of the best prospects in the state of NC for 2025 and continues to play at a high level as he plays on the 17U level as a freshman. He’s a quick guard that can score the ball at a high level but always looks to get his teammates involved first, as he showcased some very impressive passing ability throughout the day.
Juice All-Stars 2022 Guard Markell Lloyd: His team needed some offense in the second half of their matchup with a tough Norcross squad and that’s exactly what he provided. He got into the paint at a very high rate, breaking down the initial defender with ease and putting together some impressive finishes around the rim to score over Forwards and Centers. Smaller colleges that still may be looking for a guard with toughness that can put the ball in the bucket, should give him a call.
Team Trezz 2022 Guard Treyvon Byrd Treyvon Byrd 6'5" | SF Bull City Prep | 2022 State NC : What is there not to like about a 6’6 Wing with freakish athleticism and the ability to put the ball in the bucket at a nice rate. That’s exactly what we saw from Byrd in their matchup with EA Preps as he was able to score without much issue and really excelled when he was able to get out into transition to make plays.
EA Preps 2022 Guard Stephon Richards: There was plenty to like about this young man as we got the chance to see him compete against a very talented Team Trezz squad. He’s a floor general that doesn’t allow himself to get sped up, regardless of defensive pressure, he made the right plays and was very instrumental in the success of his team throughout.
