<p>The Circuit came back to Arizona at the Phhacility in Phoenix/AZ for the <strong>Bash in the Desert. </strong> </p>
<p>The 17U division kicked things off this weekend only for the first night and I viewed 8 local teams. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Here were some newcomers from the 17U Division on Friday night from Arizona:</p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1441988" first="Raymond" last="Johnson"] Central (AZ Firestorm 2023-2) (Pictured) </b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">An undersized four-man plays with an elite motor. He rebounds in and out of his area and has a strong frame with long arms to score it easily through contact. He has some post moves to utilize and plays almost with a chip on his shoulder. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1441989" first="Titus" last="Palmer"] Sahuaro (AZ Select 2023 James) </b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A scoring lead guard with a good feel for the game. He is a flashy passer and he can shoot. The lefty can catch and shoot to the 3pt line. He can burst into the lane and finger roll his way to the basket. A nice sleeper from Tucson.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A long power forward who is just scratching the surface. He rebounds well and will block shots. He challenges any players at the highest point. He keeps the ball high and scores on put backs plus he can hit from elbow and in. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1306018" first="Jaden" last="Williamson"] Horizon (AZ Firestorm 2023-1)</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A real pure point guard with speed. He is constantly surveying the scene looking to facilitate. He can get to the rim and finish off tough shots in traffic. He sees plays developing quickly and will throw the pass. He is a pest on the ball defensively. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1441990" first="Luis" last="Bravo"] Desert Edge (Team R.E.A.L. 2023)</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A diminutive combo guard can catch and shoot to the 3pt line. He can also step back on his defender and hit from deep range with a quick trigger. He has a good feel for the game and will make the extra pass. He has a quick burst to the rim and then will use the floater. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1441977" first="Ashton" last="Catlett"] Shadow Ridge (Team R.E.A.L. 2023)</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A scoring guard can catch and shoot to the 3 plus runs the floor for transition buckets. He is surprisingly very athletic as he leaps off the floor quickly and score or rebound the ball. He avg 10 ppg this season and look for him to breakout next year. </span></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1306004" first="Dominick" last="Tarrant"] Desert Edge</strong> <b> (Team R.E.A.L. 2023)</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A high motored wing forward who uses his thicker frame to score in traffic. He can get downhill with a decent handle. The lefty has a nice pull-up from mid-range and plays a physical brand of ball. </span></p>
