The spring live period is here with players looking to have big showings in front of college coaches. The 2024 class is set to make a big impression as they look to carry over their success from the high school season. Here are the 2024 prospects to watch during the first spring live period.

[player_tooltip player_id="902746" first="Naasir" last="Cunningham"], 6’8 SF Gill St. Bernard’s

Cunningham is the top prospect in the class and should have a huge spring for the NY Rens. The 6’8 wing is a big-time athlete who easily elevates for dunks and can finish in a variety of ways. Cunningham has a nice release on his jumper and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders. He is a versatile defender as his combination of length and athleticism allows him to defend multiple positions. Cunningham is a talented wing who will be a prospect to watch throughout the spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1050391" first="Tarik" last="Watson"], 6’7 SF/PF Roselle Catholic

Watson had a strong debut season for Roselle Catholic and is looking to carry over that success into the spring for the NY Lightning. The 6’7 forward has a strong frame which he uses to finish around the basket and can make shots through contact. Watson can also play on the perimeter as he can attack the basket from the perimeter and knock down shots from behind the arc. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a solid interior defender. Watson is a physical forward who should make plays for the NY Lightning at both ends of the floor for the spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1050396" first="Terri" last="Copeland"], 6’8 PF Bergen Catholic

Copeland is a physical post presence who should have a strong spring for the PSA Cardinals. The 6’8 forward knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Copeland is a good passer out of the post as he is capable of passing out of the double-team and finding open shooters on the wing. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses his physicality when defending down low. Copeland’s ability to make plays in the paint is something that will help him in a big way this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1050395" first="Deuce" last="Jones"], 6’1 PG Trenton Catholic

Jones is set to make a big impact for Team Final during the spring with his ability to make plays in the open floor. The 6’1 guard is lightning quick with the ball in his hands as opponents have trouble keeping him out of the lane. Jones is a crafty finisher around the rim and does not mind contact. He shoots the ball with confidence from distance and is an underrated passer. Jones is a playmaker whose combination of speed and skill will make him a prospect to watch during the spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153956" first="Jeremy" last="Clayville"], 6’1 CG DePaul Catholic

Clayville is ready for a big spring with All-In/NJ Beasts as he is one of the better scorers in the class. The 6’1 guard is in range once he crosses half court and shoots the ball with confidence from distance. Clayville has a nice touch on his floater and can finish through contact around the basket. He has a good handle and is capable of running the offense in a pinch. Clayville is a scoring guard prospect whose ability to get his teammates involved in the half court will help his stock in the spring and summer.

Other Prospects to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id="1153277" first="Peyton" last="Seals"], 6’4 SG Ramapo

[player_tooltip player_id="1213554" first="Brandon" last="Benjamin"], 6’7 PF Bergen Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id="1050398" first="Nick" last="Seeloch"], 5’10 PG Holmdel

[player_tooltip player_id="1153987" first="London" last="Carson"], 6’4 CG Elizabeth

[player_tooltip player_id="1050397" first="David" last="Dix"], 5’8 PG Pioneer Academy
