There isn’t anything Seals can’t do on the offensive end as he is just a scoring machine and gets any shot he wants. For three-point shooting, Seals will extend his range the more he makes throughout a game with some shots being shot close to the half-court line. He will look to put the ball on the floor if defenses pressure him up top. He has a strong upper body he uses to his advantage inside the paint to get easy layups around the rim. Seals is crafty with his handles and pairs that with his midrange game making it a lethal combo. On defense, he is not afraid to apply pressure for a whole game with him coming up with numerous turnovers to start multiple fastbreaks for his team.

Peyton Seals (Ramapo): 2024 guard Peyton Seals was very effective with his methodical play style and high IQ playmaking. His positional size as a lead guard helps him make plays in the lane and see over defenders to get his teammates involved. He used his body to disengage defenders and finish in the lane. His ability to attack downhill opened up his perimeter shot making, causing defenders to give him a step. The Princeton University commit had a solid showing and is one of the more underrated guards in the class of 2024.

Seals is as pure of a shooter as they come in today’s game. His quick smooth shot along with him being 6’4″ makes it difficult to get a contest on him. Seals is always moving even without the basketball looking to come off of off-ball screens for catch-and-shoot opportunities. He can hit the pull-up three with ease even with strong defenses in front of him. Seals made 70 threes this past season and that number will look to go way up as he heads into his senior year.

Seals can guard multiple positions and can switch onto anyone because of his 6’4″ size giving his coach lots of flexibility in how to use him. He’s great at timing when to poke the ball loose from ball handlers and will dive after every loose ball. Seals has a high release point which makes it difficult for closing defenders to contest it. He likes the corner and wing three-point shots and has deep range forcing defenses to press higher.

Seals is a player that likes to push the ball up the floor and keep defenses on their feet at all times. He will look to pass into mismatches for better shots for his team. Seals is also able to spread the floor out and shoot from deep with extended range forcing the defense to collapse more. His ability to take you off the dribble is what makes his playmaking special because he can drive into the lane and draw multiple defenders for easy kick outs to the three-point line for open shots.
