This group of players have been having excellent seasons scoring the basketball and will look to continue their dominant scoring ability. Here are my elite shot creators for the 2024 class.
Seals is a complete all-around scorer who can hit any shot in the book. Averaging 14.2 ppg he will look to apply the pressure on the offensive end at all times. He has unlimited range from deep and must be guarded once he passes the half-court line. Seals has shifty handles allowing him to break down defenders left and right to create extra space on his shots. His strong upper body gives him the ability to absorb contact well enough to get his shot off over taller players.
Highlights
Clayville looks to score at will whenever he can. He is averaging over 20 ppg this season torching defenses. Clayville will look to control the midrange game looking to rise up on his shot over smaller defenders. He’s got a sweet stroke from deep hitting 30 three-pointers this year. His ability to get the rim is how he causes damage to defenses at 6’1″ with quick speed and handles he can get through any small opening gliding his way to the rim.
Green is a two-way player who can cause havoc all over the court. He can pick anyone up full-court while also being his team’s best scorer. With averages of 16.2 ppg and over 5 rebounds per game Green and score in bunches. His high release point allows him to get it up over taller players much quicker. He has a soft touch around the rim and crashes the glass like a center coming down with 105 rebounds this season at 6’4″.
Sheehan’s scoring numbers may not pop out but he is more than capable of scoring the basketball in many different ways. He can play both in the inside and outside game making him a tough guard for anyone. He can contest midrange shots at high rates and looks to play with his back to the basket to take advantage of mismatches. He can step out to the three-point line and thrive in the catch-and-shoot game if given the space. At 6’9″ he will look to crash the glass for offensive rebounds to use his quick recovery time to get easy putbacks.
Seeloch has had a nice season scoring the basketball so far this season averaging just over 14 ppg. He has a very quick release that gives him the ability to shoot over taller players. His crafty handles allow him to create any shot he wants off the dribble looking to take control of the midrange game. He always plays fast and downhill and likes to get the rim at all times in fastbreak situations.
