Juan Cranford Jr Juan Cranford Jr 6'4" | SG Huber Heights Wayne | 2024 State OH (2024). G 6’2. Wayne
Cranford is a big guard. He is a very thick and strong kid with a very smooth game. Has a very pretty jumper and hit multiple threes for Wayne. I was impressed with his ability to stay in front of smaller guards defensively. Cranford’s skills and size make him a very intriguing player and someone to keep an eye on because he is only a sophomore.
Tyrin Sturdivant (2024). G 6’0. Northmont
Sturdivant did not score any points but was the most impactful player of the game for Northmont for them to win the hard-fought game over Miamisburg. He came in a shutdown Miamisburg’s best player. He gave him no opportunities to even score. Changed the game completely with his defensive intensity and lockdown defense. Long and quick guard that is willing to do whatever to win.
Kennez Bozeman (2022). F 6’3. Northmont
I put Bozeman as a forward but he can really play anywhere on the floor because he can guard anyone on the floor. The 6’3 Bozeman is very long with tremendous athleticism – great bounce, quickness, and runs down the floor like a guard. He can grab boards over anyone and hunts them on both ends. This brings me to what I also loved about him the most, his high motor. Willing to do all the dirty work.
Donovan Harden (2024). G 6’5. West Carrollton
Harden is a prospect I am very high on. He is 6’5 with a long wingspan and a big build but moves like he is 6’2. He was tasked with guarding Wayne’s best player and with his size and athleticism I believe he can do that to any team’s best player because he can guard all positions on the court. I loved the amount of energy and effort he brought in a big-time game. I am excited to check back up on him in the future.
Javen ‘Tank’ Vaughn (2024). G 5’8. West Carrollton
Javen stands only 5’8 but plays a much bigger role. He is a sniper that is always looking to get his shot off. You can’t leave him open because he will make you pay. Vaughn showed the ability to also create space for himself with his quick moves and tight handle. Brought a lot of energy and passion to the court and was ready to go against Wayne.
