Without [player_tooltip player_id="1285466" first="Christian" last="Bliss"] Monday night, Kachi had one of his best performances of the season. He led all scorers with 35 points from all over the floor. His jumper was his most lethal weapon, hitting several mid-range shots, 2 threes, and 11 of 12 free throws. The size advantage made a difference too as Nzeh grabbed 8 rebounds and blocked 2 shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="901991" first="Dante" last="Weise"] | 6’1 G ‘23

Dante excelled while filling in as the primary ball-handler. Rather than try to replicate Bliss’s scoring, he played his game as a distributor and made sure the ball found the open man. And when the time was right, he called his own number, including a pivotal three down the stretch. He finished with 8 points and 5 assists.

Kyle Anderson | 6’4 G ‘22

Coach Luber moved Kyle into the starting lineup and he might have to find a way to keep him there. Anderson was all over the place for them. He converted his defensive boards and takeaways into instant offense in transition. Kyle’s box score stats illustrate that he did a little of everything to help them get the win - 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

Gestin Liberis | 6’10 C ‘22

The big man extended possessions for them, got some second-chance points, and altered shots in the paint. He totaled 9 points and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="1050395" first="Deuce" last="Jones"] | 6’2 G ‘24

In the losing effort, Deuce’s 32 points still gave them a fighter’s chance to pull out a win. He got it done at the rim and from deep (4 threes). His power dribbles into step-throughs and spin moves kept defenders off-balance when he drove. And when they tried to contest his shots, Deuce made them pay from the free throw line, going 10 of 12. He chipped in 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="931033" first="Jameel" last="Morris"] | 6’2 G ‘22

Besides the third quarter when he put up 6 of his 10 points, Jameel had a quiet night as a scorer. However, he did show up for the Iron Mikes in every other category. He created advantages off the dribble for his teammates and impacted the game on defense. Jameel totaled 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 deflections.

[player_tooltip player_id="931032" first="Jamaal" last="Morris"] | 6’2 G ‘22

Down 3 going into the fourth, Jamaal had a really impressive spurt. He hit a three, grabbed a steal, and had a transition layup in a sequence that resulted in a 7 point lead for the Iron Mikes. He finished the contest with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id="991310" first="Camryn" last="Stewart"]-Bethea | 6’10 C ‘22

The man in the middle for TC picked up some ticky-tack fouls that limited his minutes, but he still positively affected the game. He scored about 7 points and blocked 3 shots in a valiant effort.
