SCISA: Class 1A Playoffs Top Performers

<p>The SCISA Playoffs have started, and Prep Hoops took in the action at the Sumter County Civic Center yesterday. Who were some of the Top Performers yesterday? Let's take a look at these 2022 players right here in this article. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="594050" first="Kylic" last="Horton"] - Clarendon Hall (Summerton) (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Horton was up to his old self again today for the Saints. Kylic finished with 28 points and 9 rebounds in the Saints victory over [program_tooltip program_id='2078736' first='Lowcountry' last=''] Prep 60-40. Kylic will take his talents to Williams Brice Stadium next season and play for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks football program. Kylic recently joined the 2,000-career points club for the Saints. Gerlante finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals in the victory. Deontray has signed to play football at Newberry (SC) (NCAA D2). Onley finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds according to my unofficial stats. Deontray came into the contest averaging 19.4 ppg and 15.1 rebounds this season. Josiah a point guard finished with 17 points in the loss. Josiah at times today got the ball to the paint while absorbing contact. Grant a 4-year letter winner for the Crusaders finished with just 8 points. Diamonte played his course today especially on the defensive end where he was able to pick up some timely steals down the stretch. Appleton a scrappy point guard did all he could do yesterday vs a Clarendon Hall Saints squad. Corey finished with 11 points and 3 assists in his last game for the Marlins. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
