Chase Walker Chase Walker 6'8" | C St. Charles | 2023 State OH , 6’8 C St Charles 2023: Walker has had a huge Junior season, earning his first Division I offer from Stony Brook. Walker is a unique prospect as he weighs as much as any player I’ve scouted from Ohio. Walker is a special passer with his back to the basket and needs to be double teamed if the opposing roster doesn’t have a big able to physically compete with Walker. Walker has improved his stamina but conditioning will still be something he continues to need to work on so he can play extended stretches at a fast pace.
Lachlan Robert MacDonald Lachlan Robert MacDonald 6'1" | SG Dublin Jerome | 2023 State OH , 6’1 SG Dublin Jerome 2023: MacDonald has grown in height and starting to fill out through work in the weight room and these developments are paying off on the court. MacDonald was always able to shoot it at a high level, but now he’s able to penetrate to the basket easier and defend at a higher level. MacDonald has taken a clear step in his game and it’ll be exciting to see how he plays this spring and summer with more college coaches watching his development.
Cody Head Cody Head 6'1" | CG Lutheran East | 2023 State OH , 6’1 CG Lutheran East 2023: Head had a nice summer with All Ohio Red and has put up solid scoring numbers for Lutheran East this season. Head has solid burst and self-creation ability with his tight handle and ability to change speeds. Head can create his own shot at a high level. I’d like to see Head improve his passing ability this summer when playing for Wildcats Select on the 3SSB circuit.
Gavin Headings Gavin Headings 6'8" | PF Pickerington Central | 2023 State OH , 6’7 PF Pickerington Central 2023: Headings left Dublin Coffman for Pickerington Central and waited his turn as a sophomore, only playing spot minutes off the bench. This season, Headings has become a starter for the Tigers and is making a big impact. Headings shoots the ball at a high level from the power forward position and has really improved his toughness and production this season.
Jahlil Graham Jahlil Graham 6'0" | PG Canton McKinley | 2023 State OH , 6’0 PG Canton McKinley 2023: Graham has taken over a lead role for Canton McKinley after the Pups graduated almost their entire rotation from last season. Graham is one of the leading scorers in the Federal League and can score the ball at a high level. Graham hit a crazy buzzer-beater to defeated Massillon Jackson and scored 36 points against Northland to open the season at the All-Ohio Showcase.
