<h5>The NCHSAA season is halfway through conference play in 2021-22. Here’s a look at some young point guard prospects in the 2024 class in 3A & 4A West region. </h5>

<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1158774" first="Carson" last="Daniel"] | 6’0 | Central Cabarrus</h5>
<p>Daniel is one of the floor generals for Central Cabarrus High that’s making quite the impact as they remain unbeaten in 2021-22. He’s producing 13.2 ppg, 5.4 apg, 4.0 spg and 3.6 rpg as he’s shooting 63 percent from the field and 38 percent from behind the arc while making plays for himself and others and is quite the presence on the defensive end as well. He’s one of a few names to keep an eye on in the Central Cabarrus rotation.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1373705" first="Cam" last="Flippen"] | 6’0 | Dudley</h5>
<p>Flippen is a young guard that’s working well in the Dudley High backcourt at the point guard spot. He’s averaging 13.5 ppg, 5.6 apg, 4.1 rpg and 1.4 spg as the Panthers are 6-1 in conference play and looking to make a splash in the 3A West ranks. He’s a strong, heady floor general with quite the upside at the point guard spot in NC’s 2024 class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1180892" first="Sir" last="Mohammed"] | 6’4 | Myers Park</h5>
<p>Mohammed has emerged as quite the threat at the lead guard role for Myers Park High. He’s putting up 14.9 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 4.4 apg and 1.6 spg as he’s learning to control the pace on the floor in the early going. He’s shown the ability to handle the ball and control the pace as the Mustangs are off to a 5-1 start in conference play. He’s a young name for colleges to get eyes on.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1281454" first="Quay" last="Watson"] | 5’9 | Hopewell</h5>
<p>Watson is quite the distributor and scorer in the Hopewell High backcourt so far in 2021-22. He leads all sophomores (according to MaxPreps) in scoring with 22.1 ppg along with 5.2 apg, 4.1 rpg and 2.7 spg as he shows off his ability to score it at range and off the bounce. He’s knocked 40-of-78 (51 percent) 3-pointers as a presence on the perimeter for the Titans.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1031096" first="Delani" last="Hammonds"] | 5’10 | Ardrey Kell</h5>
<p>Hammonds is finding his way in the Ardrey Kell backcourt at the floor general spot in 2021-22. He’s posted solid production in the rotation with 8.6 ppg, 3.9 apg and 2.3 rpg in the varsity rotation as he continues to develop. Look for his role to grow as the season’s progress in the Knights rotation. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1164543" first="Alex" last="Taylor"] | 6’2 | Grimsley </h5>
<p>Taylor is an emerging floor general to keep eyes on over at Grimsley High with his ability to rebound the ball and make plays for others. He’s averaging 7.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 4.3 apg and 1.9 spg in the backcourt at the point guard role for them as they remain unbeaten in conference play at 7-0. He’s a young name to get eyes on that’s also seen success on the football field as well.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1373706" first="Jordan" last="Falls"] | 5’10 | Huss</h5>
<p>Falls is a young prospect that’s shown flashes of his potential at the point guard role over at Huss High. He’s a 5-foot-10 floor general that’s wiry getting to the rim and rebounding the ball. He’s put up 8.4 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 2.5 apg in the early going for the Huskies as he looks to establish himself in the rotation.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1373707" first="Tyree" last="White"] | 5’10 | Sun Valley</h5>
<p>White is a new face that’s emerging in NC’s 2024 in the 4A West region. He’s had solid production as a leader in the Sun Valley High backcourt with 18.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 4.1 apg and 2.9 spg, showing off his prowess on both ends of the floor. He’s a young prospect that plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the floor.</p>
