Last weekend saw some amazing finishes of some outstanding games, and this week, there is an interesting schedule of games with most teams across the state playing on Thursday and Saturday due to the girl's basketball Sectional tournament on the other four days of the week. There are several great small school games during this week, so let's take a look at the top games in the coming week.

1. Bloomfield @ North Daviess - Thursday @ 7:30

In this top-6 1A matchup, #6 Bloomfield goes on the road to #3 North Daviess. Bloomfield comes in at 14-3 with two losses to 2A #5 Linton-Stockton and one loss to Sectional rival, #5 Loogootee. North Daviess comes in at 16-2 with overtime losses to 2A #1 Fort Wayne Blackhawk and 1A #4 Barr-Reeve. Bloomfield is led by their senior duo of [player_tooltip player_id="870307" first="Baylin" last="Graf"] and [player_tooltip player_id="870288" first="Christopher" last="Royal"], and North Daviess is led by [player_tooltip player_id="935727" first="Jaylen" last="Mullen"], one of the top small-school point guards in the state.

2. Heritage Christian @ Park Tudor - Monday @ 7:30

Heritage Christian has had an up and down year so far with a 6-8 record, but they are coming off of a disappointing loss to Shenandoah last week. Park Tudor comes in at 8-4 with four consecutive wins. The matchup to watch in this one is going to be Heritage Christian's Myles Colvin, the #11 junior in the state who is committed to Purdue, and Park Tudor's [player_tooltip player_id="868228" first="Jermaine" last="Coleman"], the #7 junior in the state.

3. Fort Wayne Blackhawk @ Indianapolis Tindley - Saturday @ 1:30

Blackhawk comes in at 14-2 with an overtime loss to Homestead and an upset loss against Fort Wayne Dwenger. Indianapolis Tindley comes in at 12-5, and after their 1-3 start to the season, they have bounced back to win 11 of 13 with losses to 4A opponents, Lafayette Jeff and Indianapolis Tech. Blackhawk is led by their junior trio of Jimmy Davidson, [player_tooltip player_id="1042496" first="Gage" last="Sefton"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1042499" first="Josh" last="Furst"]. Tindley is led by their big man [player_tooltip player_id="1174129" first="Aaron" last="Humphrey"] who is averaging 19 points and 9 rebounds, and Furst will have to step up in a big way to shut him down.

4. Peru @ Tipton - Thursday @ 7:30

Peru comes in at 12-1 with their one loss coming last week to Warsaw after 11 straight wins to start the season. Tipton comes in at 11-4, but they are just 2-4 against 3A and 4A opponents. The big matchup will be Peru's [player_tooltip player_id="958403" first="Matthew" last="Ross"], who is averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game this year, and Tipton's Nate Powell who is averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds per game this year. Another player to watch will be [player_tooltip player_id="1158205" first="Nolan" last="Swan"], a sophomore for Tipton, who has stepped up to average 16 points and 6 assists per game.

5. Covenant Christian @ North Putnam - Saturday @ 2:00

Covenant Christian comes in at 8-8 with four losses in a row after their triple-overtime thriller against Central Christian. North Putnam comes in at 12-2 with ten consecutive wins after a 2-2 start to the season. Both of these teams are led by their seniors as Covenant Christian is led by their senior duo of Brock Buckley and [player_tooltip player_id="1184701" first="Christian" last="Flowers"], and North Putnam is led by their senior trio of Zachary Huff, [player_tooltip player_id="870303" first="Aaron" last="Pickel"], and Ellis Lyons who all played extremely well when I watched them two weeks ago.

6. Culver Academy @ South Bend St. Joseph - Tuesday @ 7:30

Culver Academy comes in at 9-4 with losses in three of their last five to very good teams, Westfield, Mishawaka Marian, and Chesterton.
