[player_tooltip player_id="701246" first="Nathan" last="Calmese"] Mesquite

A slight framed scoring lead guard makes the game look easy in many stretches. He has long arms and is a good 3pt shooter. He is a plus athlete that will make difficult shots in the lane. He is a good offensive rebounder for his position and has a polished floater game. He lets the game come to him, and when he is on, he will carry them.

[player_tooltip player_id="1305225" first="Quincy" last="Adams"] Hamilton (Pictured right)

An athletic wing is an easy dunker in transition with effortless bounce. He gets downhill with very few strides. He is somewhat of an inconsistent perimeter shooter but he can definitely make 3’s in bunches. The lefty made multiple difficult shots in traffic and rebounds out of his area. On the next update for state rankings, he will definitely be inside the top-50 and is a possible top-10 senior in the AIA.

[player_tooltip player_id="1216728" first="Daimon" last="Denning"] Hamilton (Pictured left)

A smart combo guard loves getting downhill. He is a good passer, he plays the game with a high IQ and defends multiple positions. He plays the 1-3 for the team and his senior leadership will come up big in tight games.

[player_tooltip player_id="827044" first="Easton" last="Reagan"] Desert Mountain

A catch-3pt shooter who is crafty around the basket to score it through or around contact. He uses his handle and body well and will hesi and go. He is always a triple threat to shoot, pass or dribble putting pressure on defenses. His shooting makes his game go but the rest of his game is improving. He gained 1 inch and 20 lbs of real muscle since last year.

[player_tooltip player_id="934598" first="Jaylen" last="Wesley"] McClintock

Wesley had a good showing. He got downhill per usual with his thick frame and power through with any kind of contact. But he showed his much improved skill by hitting four catch-3’s. His shooting will open up lanes for his teammates moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id="827049" first="Pascal" last="Volz"] McClintock

A highly skilled guard has savvy and he can shoot it to the 3pt line. He is best off the catch but can pull-up from mid-range plus get downhill and score it in traffic with his thicker frame.

[player_tooltip player_id="1015263" first="Talbot" last="Cummard"] Mesa

A defensive minded guard slashes to the basket well and always moves without the ball. He has a sudden quick first step and will go by. He is a good athlete and defender. He plays the 2-4 for the undersized team and has some moxie. He is super scrappy and intelligent on defense and is a good passer. He hesitates to get to the cup and when he gets in rhythm, he can make 3’s as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1033047" first="Eli" last="Fleming"] Dysart

A gunner from the 3pt line has a very clean stroke with a fast trigger. He is best off the catch from the arc and can get to the basket on straight line drives. He scores it through contact, he can pull-up off the dribble and he is a smart passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1049922" first="Jake" last="Smith"] Buena

A scoring guard is a good on-ball defender. He has become stronger in the last year or so. He can get to the rim plus make perimeter shots. He rebounds well for a guard and they will rely on him to make plays for him and his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="1335462" first="Cooper" last="Jones"] Buena

A very good rebounding guard loves touching the paint. He is a physical player for his size and is a good passer. He is a capable 3pt shooter and he made one impressive fall-away jumper from deep off the dribble showing his promise for the future as a shooter.
