<p>The Capitol City Classic has kicked off and some of the top teams and players across the state are at Willamette University competing among the best. Here’s a look at some of the top-ranked sophmores and freshmen that are there.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Class of 2024</strong></span></p>
<p>#1 - [player_tooltip player_id="1052572" first="Terrence" last="Hill"] (2024 Roosevelt) - the state’s number one ranked player is off to a fast start this season with 35 points in Roosevelt’s season opener. He can light it up from the outside as well as drive and create for others.</p>
<p>#8 - [player_tooltip player_id="1232310" first="Trent" last="Ferguson"] (2024 West Salem) - 6-foot-7 big man who is simply a load to handle in the paint. soft hands around the hoop but can also face up and knock down jumpers.</p>
<p>#10 - [player_tooltip player_id="1110571" first="Quinn" last="Haveman"] (2024 Mountainside) - defensive-minded player that can guard multiple perimeter positions. don’t sleep on him offensively as he can hit shots and create as well.</p>
<p>#16 - [player_tooltip player_id="1110736" first="Utrillo" last="Morris"] (2024 Roosevelt) - extremely quick 5-foot-8 point guard who can beat practically anyone off the dribble. has the ability to shoot from the outside as well.</p>
<p>#17 - [player_tooltip player_id="1268431" first="Connor" last="Oertel"] (2024 West Salem) - under the radar since he played JV last season. but an all-around guard with size at 6-foot-3 who can shoot and create off the dribble.</p>
<p>#18 - [player_tooltip player_id="1110570" first="Chance" last="White"] (2024 Roosevelt) - versatile combo guard that’s quick to get into the lane but can also beat you from the perimeter.</p>
<p>#20 - [player_tooltip player_id="1110842" first="Kallen" last="Gutridge"] (2024 Wilsonville) - offensively-talented lefty that can score in numerous ways. is a tough matchup on the perimeter due to his combination of skills and 6-foot-3 size.</p>
<p>#WL - [player_tooltip player_id="1110843" first="Kyle" last="Counts"] (2024 Wilsonville) - emerging 6-foot-6 forward who has good skills around the hoop. has started to become one of Wilsonville’s top post threats.</p>
