6’6 SF Carson Frawley | Camas HS 2022
Carson has such a high upside. His size, athleticism, and skill set make him an appealing prospect for the next level. On Saturday, he ran the floor hard and got multiple layups in transition. He showed his ability to hit the three and make plays on the perimeter, too. Look for Frawley to have a big-time senior season for Camas.
5’9 PG Robert Rean Jr | Skyview HS 2023
True PG. He wasn’t very aggressive looking for his own shot this weekend, but he did a good job of playmaking for others and hitting open threes when he got them. Where I think he’s special is his on-ball defense. He has good upper body strength and lateral quickness which allows him to get into the dribbler and speed them up.
6’0 CG Kobe Parlin Kobe Parlin 6'1" | CG Mark Morris | 2023 State WA | Mark Morris HS 2023
Parlin is one of my favorite prospects in the 2023 class. In the era of 3’s, Parlin still relies heavily on the midrange. On Saturday, he did a good job of getting to his spots, stopping on a dime, and raising up before the defender could react. Although he likes the middy, he can knock the 3-ball down consistently. He’s at his best when he’s in attack mode and getting downhill. He’s a strong guard that can make plays through contact. Stock riser for 2023.
5’11 PG Malakai Gray | Mark Morris HS 2024
Gray has tons of upside. He is still trying to find his identity as a player, and it’s not a bad thing. At times he was super aggressive to score and looked to play off-ball, then there were other moments where he wasn’t aggressive to score and just facilitated the offense. As he continues to develop, I think who he is as a player will naturally develop as well. The fact that he can impact a game playing both styles is appealing. He’s a competitor and it was evident by how he played defensively at the event. Underrated prospect in the 2024 class.
6’3 SG Michael Foust | Kelso HS 2022
Foust was one of the top shooters at the event Saturday. Although he can score from all levels, being a shooter is where he excels. He showed that he is a shooting threat in various ways: spot-up, off the dribble, and transition. He has good size for his position and did a good job guarding players bigger than him. He is a good 3 & D prospect for the next level.
