Region 5-AAAAA Preview

<p>The basketball is fast approaching for several schools in the Palmetto State this coming week. Prep Hoops continues its coverage from region to region before the season starts. Who is next but Region 5-AAAAA in the Midlands. Let’s get into the action right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Palmetto State. </p> <p><em><strong>Prep Hoops Predictions: </strong></em></p> <p>Dutch Fork HS - The Silver Foxes will rely on some experienced players to lead the way this season. </p> <p>Lexington HS - The Wildcats will be right here in the thick of things with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="986184" first="Cameron" last="Scott"]</strong> leading the way. </p> <p>River Bluff HS - The Gators won the Class 5A State Championship last season over Dorman. The Gators lost several players to graduation. Houston is committed to play at Presbyterian College after his high school career is over. Octavious has a good motor and plays the game like a swiss army knife. Last I saw Green has over 1,400 yards this season for the Silver Foxes who have 61 games in a row. Green is a pesky guard backcourt for Head Coach Bret Jones.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="986184" first="Cameron" last="Scott"] (2024) - Lexington HS (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Scott is the best player in the 2024 Palmetto State. Scott a highly touted player has several High Major offers from around the United States already. Cameron is extremely skilled to take over a game at any time while on the floor. Washington ran with the PCH Nightrydas SC on the Grassroots Circuit this past summer. Treyvon has great length and skill set to do about anything on the floor with the ball. Maddox will look to carry the Timberwolves as far he can this season. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1332455" first="Kaleb" last="Evans"] (2025) - White Knoll HS </strong></p> <p>Evans will be a nice compliment player to Maddox.
