Tyler Wagner Tyler Wagner 6'6" | SF Totino Grace | 2025 State #366 Nation MN (2025 G, Totino-Grace)- Tyler looks to be one of the most advanced 2025 prospects in the state, as his combination of positional size, shooting range, body control, and all around skill are hard to match at that age. As I was walking around to catch various groups in the 3v3 drill, Tyler scored in all three of the possessions that I saw him in, and he did so in a variety of ways with some tough finishes in the paint. You can tell he has a ton of confidence in his game as he’s not afraid to break guys down off the dribble, and he’s a threat to pull up from just about anywhere in the half-court.
Norbu Jenpa (2025 G, Prior Lake)- Really like the poise that Norbu Jenpa played with. He was one of the taller guards in attendance, and plays with a nice feel for the game. Never looked sped up and played with a chance of pace that allowed him to get to his spots off the dribble. Was an unselfish player who showed off good passing vision with the ability to deliver accurate passes leading to high percentage looks. Can pull-up from three but is also able to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim where he uses his size to finish.
Eban Lo (2025 PG, Minneapolis Patrick Henry)- I had seen Eban play earlier this fall at the Future Phenoms Fall League, but had no idea he was just a freshman. He’s a skilled point guard with a shifty handle who can change directions quickly. Despite being one of the smaller players, Eban is a gifted finisher with either hand who can extend under an outstretched arm to score, or put up a floater that was dropping at a high percentage. All game long defenders had a hard time keeping him in front, as no one in the gym seemed to have an answer for him. He also showed off some deep range beyond the arc, and has the ability to sit deep in a stance and apply ball pressure defensively.
Jack Frigstad (2025 F, Eastview)- I’m not listing heights as I don’t have any official listings for these players, but Jack looked to be close to 6’5 with a very long frame. Despite that size at a young age, he moves well which allows him to make plays on the perimeter as well as in the paint. He showed a smooth stroke from beyond the arc, and was dangerous running the baseline and getting some open looks from the corners. Defensively he was a shot blocking threat around the rim as he was pretty quick off the floor and his long arms made things difficult for opposing players.
Daniel Molhoek (2025 PF/C, Edina)- Standing at about 6’7, Daniel was the biggest player in attendance on Saturday. I had seen him play with D1 Minnesota back in the spring, and after watching him these past two weekends I’m impressed with how his game as progressed. In the 5v5 portion of the event he showed that he can put the ball on the floor a bit and take opposing bigs off the dribble. Once around the rim he’s either too tall or too strong for most defenders to stop, as he finished at a high percentage inside. Has shooting touch from beyond the arc and can also finish above the rim in the open floor. Defensively he was tough to move off the block and was able to pull in just about every rebound that came his way.
Duke Richardson (2025 G, Minnetonka)- Duke is yet another promising player in the Minnetonka program, as he has a nice combination of length, athleticism, and scoring ability. He’s quick in the open floor with the ability to turn a rebound into a quick two points going the other way as he has the handle to weave in and out of traffic. Tons of confidence in his scoring ability, and it showed as he was knocking down deep threes or getting to the rim and finishing in traffic. Think he has the potential to develop into a strong defender as well as he has a long frame with the mobility to move his feet and defend smaller players.
Charles Scott (2025 W, Minneapolis Patrick Henry)- I like the long term potential of Charles Scott as he has some intriguing length on the wing and may have been the most explosive player in attendance. He showed that he can finish above the rim when he has a lane to take off, and during the 5v5 games he was getting to the rim for some strong finishes. Still a bit raw offensively but took advantage of some gaps in the defense and wasn’t afraid to attack. Defensively he was able to guard almost every spot on the floor with his length and mobility.
Omar Kaba (2025 PF/C, Wayzata)- Omar has some impressive length that immediately catches your eye. Looked to be at least 6’5 with an even longer wingspan. That length paid off on the defensive end as he was one of the better shot blockers in attendance. Omar does a nice job of contesting shots straight up to avoid fouling, instead of swinging his arms to try to swat everything in his area. Wasn’t afraid to play physical either as he was scrapping for rebounds against opposing bigs. Still raw but showed some potential to put the ball on the floor and has a couple of post moves in his arsenal.
Noah Lease (2025 G, Cretin-Derham Hall)- Noah may have been the fastest player in attendance, and he’s not afraid to push the ball ahead in transition. Was able to weave in and out of traffic to get transition buckets for both himself or his teammates. Delivered some nice passes when he got into the paint, but wasn’t afraid to keep it himself to finish either. Paired well with Tyler Wagner Tyler Wagner 6'6" | SF Totino Grace | 2025 State #366 Nation MN to form one of the best duos in attendance.
