really struggled the final week of their July. The league is the best in the country and Team Thad could not recapture their seasonlong magic. The program will be better prepared for 2022. All in all, the guards just did not dominate like expected during the Peach Jam. Knox verbally committed to Memphis. He will walk in the door among the best shooters in the program.

was the most productive player in this quintet early in his career. With EAB 15u, two years ago, Evan scored 20 points every game out. His ceiling remains strong, but the OVC commit surprised a little bit. Could he have waited? Perhaps. Like

, Eursher found a comfortable fit and made his choice. Can’t fault him for that. What does Eursher need to work on? Defensive commitment will be easier in college, as Eursher finds scoring help throughout the program. His explosion is very good. The speed with the basketball is very good. Eursher can and does create so many different ways.

ended his recruitment mid-summer. He elected to verbally commit to East Tennessee State University (ETSU). Ilic is ranked in the Top 10 for a couple of reasons. He shows nice shooting touch out to 15’. His defense is decent now and projects to be better than average later. Ilic is close to

in potential, but Ilic lacks the wing potential of Dia. In five years, Dia could be a power forward or small forward. Ilic will always be a power forward. That is not a knock on his game, because he does what he does well. It is just the reason Dia is ranked several notches higher. Ilic could have delayed his commitment until April and perhaps landed more D1 offers. It is always best to pick a good fit though and ETSU is a program and school Braden is exited about.

Morgan opened September with a very early commitment to Murray State. Morgan exploded winter 2020 with an incredible junior season. From there he earned a Team Thad spot and continued to impress college coaches. Morgan is an elite shooter from any point on the floor. Nice height for the position. Needs to develop his strength before thriving in college.
