Earlier in the week we got the opportunity to see some good matchups in the semifinals as well so let’s take a look at some of the performers from 9DIME Finals week.

: After somewhat of a quiet game in the Semis, he stepped up his play in the Championship game, scoring a game high of 24 Points. His three point shooting is one of his best attributes as he has college level shooting range and is just as efficient off the catch as he is off the dribble. The potential he has to be special is clear, as long as he continues to work and improve consistently, he will be a name for colleges to put on their list.

: He was dominant in the semis, scoring 29 Points and pulling down 15 Rebounds. He got into the paint at a very high rate and took advantage of the mismatches he had. During their matchup in the finals against The Bucks, he was a huge part of his team’s offensive firepower in the first half but found himself in foul trouble in the 2nd half. The next step for him will be to add some midrange scoring into his game as well as increasing his lateral quickness.
Patriots Senior Guard Christian Freeman: One attribute that you cannot question about this young man is his toughness and desire to win. His team would come up short in the semifinals but it was not due to a lack of effort from Freeman. He defended every position on the court, got his team into their defensive sets and brought the leadership that helped his team to bounce back and compete even when they were facing a deficit.

: Throughout the season he showed some flashes of what he can potentially be but it seemed like he saved his best performance for the championship game. He knocked down shots, got to the paint at a high level, and played with an overall confidence that was impressive.
Westside Sophomore Guard Almare Josey: This was one of his first opportunities at getting some legit varsity minutes and we saw some flashes from him of what he can potentially be. His three point shooting ability is an attribute that has already caught our attention and we feel that he will continue to develop into a well rounded player over the next three years.
