Post & Pivot yet again hosted a phenomenal event that brought together players from around the area, boys and girls, for some unique match ups for a good cause. While the Girls 2023 comeback win versus 2022 was the best game of the day, there were plenty of great individual performers on the boys side as the class of 2024s beat the 2025s and 2022s took down the 2024s.

2024

[player_tooltip player_id="991421" first="Ryan" last="Williams"] took home the MVP award, leading all scorers with an efficient 24 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. More so known for his scoring at all 3 levels, Ryan racked up assists by pushing the ball ahead in transition. 2nd on the team in scoring (20 pts) and runner up for MVP was [player_tooltip player_id="1189096" first="Jalil" last="Bethea"]. The guard from Archbishop Wood showcased his offensive playmaking ability early on (7 asts) and defensive awareness (5 stls) too, as the Sophomores beat the Freshmen 101 to 78. [player_tooltip player_id="1192641" first="Darren" last="Williams"] got going in the second half by pushing the ball in transition and getting to the cup, amassing 11 points & 4 assists. It’s hard for big men to stand out in these settings yet [player_tooltip player_id="1281772" first="Tristen" last="Guillouette"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1213553" first="Thomas" last="Sorber"] each had three blocks. [player_tooltip player_id="1123894" first="Jayden" last="Robinson"] had a huge impact on the game defensively too; it just didn’t fill up the box score (6 pts + 8 rebs).

2025

The Freshmen were outmatched but that didn’t stop them from competing. Great Valley’s Cameron Wallace won the Sportsmanship award, as the MVP of the losing squad. He scored 18 points by using his burst and stride length to get to the rim, in addition to grabbing 7 boards. [player_tooltip player_id="1197611" first="KJ" last="Cochran"] of West Chester East finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. He battled for second chance points all game long and displayed the ability to create his own shots. [player_tooltip player_id="1188621" first="Olin" last="Chamberlain"] Jr and [player_tooltip player_id="1136565" first="Jake" last="West"] showed the makings of great floor generals. Olin Jr had 6 points & 7 assists, while Jake put up 10 points & 3 assists. [player_tooltip player_id="1188627" first="Milan" last="Dean"] Jr plus fastbreaks were a recipe for violence at the rim (8 pts). He has some craft to pair with his power finishes.

2022

Both the Seniors and the Juniors eclipsed a hundred points in the finale. Although a couple members of his team outscored him, [player_tooltip player_id="991324" first="Luke" last="Boyd"] earned the MVP honors due to the intensity he brought throughout the game. The 18 points he contributed was only a glimpse of the well-rounded scoring he’s bringing to his team this season. [player_tooltip player_id="1200787" first="Denzel" last="Figueroa"] brought it on both ends all game long too, scoring 17 points plus a couple blocks. [player_tooltip player_id="1287322" first="Mo" last="Abdullah"] and [player_tooltip player_id="991231" first="Jacob" last="Beccles"] scored 31 and 27 points, respectively.

2023

Kyle Jones Jr from Father Judge won the Sportsmanship award in this team’s loss, netting 30 points on 6 made threes. The rest of his points came from tremendous ducks. [player_tooltip player_id="991334" first="Xzayvier" last="Brown"] isn’t known for his long-range shooting, but made 6 threes of his own en route to 28 points. [player_tooltip player_id="991341" first="Justin" last="Edwards"] and Adam “Budd” Clark each scored 13 points.
