PH Top 250 Expo: 2024 – Part 2

<p>The coverage just keeps on coming out all week long right here at Prep Hoops. The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo was a great success this past weekend down at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center. Lets take a look at some more players from the 2024 Palmetto State Class that played in the event. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/09/1-Cayman-Collins.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1294880" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/09/1-Cayman-Collins-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1096258" first="Cayman" last="Collins"] - Chapin HS </strong></p> <p>Collins brings a lot of energy to the court and at times just causes havoc on the floor. Collins was able to drop a few floaters today on his way to the cup. Cayman played good minutes last season at Hammond in the SCISA Class 3A ranks. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/09/66EF1709-C083-4B7E-AAFC-BF99F33EE408.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1296293" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/09/66EF1709-C083-4B7E-AAFC-BF99F33EE408-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1016450" first="Jasaan" last="Faulkner"] - St James HS (Murrells Inlet) </strong></p> <p>Faulkner always seems he is up to take a charge on command.  Jasaan plays on the football field for the Sharks on Friday nights this fall on the defensive end of the field. Faulkner played aggressive and really looked to utilize the bounce pass on more than one occasion today. Jamarie likes to drive to the basket and drop floaters on the way. Brown must get stronger down the road and continue to work on his skill set. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/09/28-Brady-Poole.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1294903" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/09/28-Brady-Poole-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="986185" first="Brady" last="Poole"] - Chesnee HS </strong></p> <p>Poole can really knockdown shots on the perimeter and especially from downtown. Brady has a good shot release and shoots the ball at a high percentage clip. Muriithi really sees the floor well and finds the open man with his unselfish play. Musa is a capable shooter to knockdown shots especially when open on the floor. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1295784" first="Darius" last="Carr"] - Carolina Forest HS </strong></p> <p>Carr really went to town today down on around the rim. Carr was active on the glass on put-backs and second chance points. Darius was quite a pleasant surprise today with his play around the basket and in the paint. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1224936" first="Jadan" last="Young"] - Aiken HS (pictured on front) </strong></p> <p>Jadan can really knockdown shots on the floor and extend the defense behind the three point line. Young is shot ready to receive the ball with a quick release. Rodney is a deceptive athlete with a good set of footwork around the basket. Rodney is a rugged looking forward to thrives playing on contact. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1016449" first="Phillip" last="McLean"] - Carolina Forest HS </strong></p> <p>McLean is a old school back to the basket post player. Phillip likes to carve out space down low with his frame and doesn’t mind playing on contact. McLean has a good set of hands to catch anything thrown to him in the paint. Phillip is best suited at times to play in a half court style of play.</p>
