Carr has really turned up his play over the past 3 months or so. Darius came on strong this summer after making the move over to Gray Collegiate from Carolina Forest HS. Darius has really picked up his play around the cup. He has nice footwork to finish around bigger defenders at times.

Darius can step-out and feel comfortable connecting on a short corner – mid range jumper. He really does a nice job of chasing down rebounds outside of his area. Carr tends to play bigger than his size down low. He made the move up to #22 after being #44 in the June rankings.

Carr has continued his hot play with a strong effort here today. Darius made the move from the Grand Strand to the Midlands this off season. Carr is a double-double guy around the paint area. He will surely play the game on contact and get to the foul line at a high clip. Darius is a nice addition to the War Eagles roster this season. He has received some offers already from some NCAA D2 programs.

Carr has really made good strides this season for the Panthers. Darius is a paint player, and it shows with his production around the basket. He does a nice job of finishing with his left-hand at times when called upon to do so. Darius has a knack for blocking shots especially with his left-hand. He tends to play bigger than his size around the basket. Carr is averaging 15.2 ppg, 9.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks this season for the Panthers.

Carr has showed some moments this summer on the Grassroots Circuit with Big Shots SC Premier. Darius should see some good minutes this season the Panthers roster with several players moving on.

Darius is best fit around the basket and just playing active and collecting rebounds off the glass.
