The 2024 class may have only been in high school for one season, but the excitement around the group is palpable. [player_tooltip player_id="902746" first="Naasir" last="Cunningham"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1046909" first="Elliot" last="Cadeau"] headline the crop, but they are not the only players set to make an impact, especially on the wing. Here are the 2024 wing prospects set for a big 2021-22 season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1213560" first="Savod" last="Godwin"], 6’5 SF Arts

Godwin had a solid debut season for Arts last year, but should put up even better numbers in 2021-22. The 6’5 wing attacks the basket strong and does not mind drawing contact. Godwin has a nice touch around the rim and can hit open jumpers on the perimeter. He is a strong rebounder and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Arts will be a team to watch in Essex County this season, creating an opportunity for Godwin to breakout.

[player_tooltip player_id="902737" first="Zack" last="Davis"], 6’7 SF Ranney

Davis has waited his turn at Ranney and should take advantage of the minutes thrown his way this season. The 6’7 wing has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Davis is more than just a shooter as he can also handle the ball on the perimeter and finish around the basket. He is an underrated rebounder and slides his feet on the defensive end. Davis’ ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153989" first="Philip" last="Unangst"], 6’6 SF St. Thomas Aquinas

Unangst’s debut season was cut short due to injury, but his play for the Hilltoppers this summer shows he is ready for a big sophomore season. The lanky 6’6 wing explodes to the basket and knows how to finish strong above the rim. Unangst can make layups through contact and shoots the ball with confidence from the perimeter. He is a good rebounder and has the athleticism to defend multiple positions. Unangst’s combination of athleticism, size and skill makes him a breakout candidate in the GMC.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153999" first="Jaylan" last="Hornsby"], 6’3 SG Overbrook

Hornsby had a huge debut season for the Rams and should be one of the top players in the Tri-County Conference. The athletic 6’3 guard can finish in a variety of ways around the rim and does not mind contact. Hornsby is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down open shots from behind the arc. He is a strong rebounder and knows how to jump passing lanes on the defensive end. Hornsby is an athletic, two-way guard prospect who will be a player to watch in South Jersey this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153998" first="Luke" last="Billings"], 6’1 SG Robbinsville

Billings had an impactful debut season for Robbinsville and will be tasked with a bigger scoring load with the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id="933639" first="Ryan" last="Smith"]. The 6’1 guard has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before every shot. Billings is more than just a shooter as he can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He is capable of running the offense in a pinch and is an underrated defender. Billings is a 2024 prospect to watch in the CVC as he gets more touches on the offensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153980" first="James" last="Vallillo"], 6’2 SG Holmdel

[player_tooltip player_id="1050407" first="Owen" last="Griffin"], 6’5 SF St. Joe’s Metuchen

[player_tooltip player_id="1156892" first="Devyn" last="Wright-Myles"], 6’2 SG Trenton Catholic Academy

[player_tooltip player_id="1213571" first="Elijah" last="Butler"], 6’3 SG Linden

[player_tooltip player_id="1213561" first="Brendan" last="Oliver"], 6’4 SF Newark Academy
