The Swanny’s : Take A Charge

<p>You have the Emmys, Espys, Grammys and now The Swanny’s. Prep Hoops and Bret Swanson take a look at its best from the summer on the Grassroots Circuit. We have decided on several categories to breakdown from this Grassroots season which seems like has never ended at times.</p> <p><em><strong>Take A Charge - Which player will sacrifice his body for the sake of his team ?  </strong></em></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="746059" first="Kendall" last="Davis"] - York Prep (Rock Hill) - Winner of the Swanny’s - Take A Charge Award (pictured on front) </strong></p> <p>Kendall took 5 charges in one game I watched this summer with his 1-Carolina team. Taking 5 charges in a game is unheard of for sure. The Davis boys take charges with no hesitation at all. The Davis Brothers take a charge better than any players I saw this Grassroots season. These guys play tenacious defense and will take a CHARGE ON COMMAND. Kudos to the Patriots Head Coach Mr. Larry Davis and father of these two young men.
