Top Ohio 2024 performers at UAA

<p>We traveled down to Georgia to scout on the Under Armour circuit this weekend for the first two days. We saw the only Ohio 15 U squad at the event, C2K 15 U twice. In this article we’ll be looking at their best players from the weekend.</p> <p>Keven Adorno, 5’11 PG Dohn Prep 2024: Adorno was extremely impressive in our first viewing of him. He has a great handle and was hitting shots from DEEP. Adorno has nice shift to his handle and can pull off a variety of crossover moves in his bag. Adorno is one of the most talented scoring guards in the state in the class of 2024 but also showed some impressive passing ability as well. This is a very high level prospect in the SW Ohio area.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1225066" first="Alex" last="Bruskotter"], 6’6 PF Shelby 2024: I saw a very limited sample of Bruskotter during the HS season for Shelby, but the talent was clear. Starting for C2K, this gave myself a first real opportunity to scout the 6’6 forward. Bruskotter was knocking down a lot of shots from the mid-range and can be a mismatch on the perimeter with his height and handle. Bruskotter will be one of the top small school prospects in the 2024 class, Shelby has had a nice run of talent in the past couple seasons and will remain competitive after [player_tooltip player_id="555228" first="TJ" last="Pugh"] and [player_tooltip player_id="805196" first="Cody" last="Lantz"] graduated.</p> <p>DeMarr Foster, 5’9 CG Lima Central Catholic 2024: Foster was maybe the leading scorer for C2K in the two games that I saw on Friday. Foster was finishing with both hands around the rim and knocking down timely shots for C2K. Foster plays with the toughness you can expect from a prospect from Lima on both ends, competing despite a lack of size. I expect Foster to put up huge numbers in the next couple seasons for Lima Central Catholic.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1222354" first="Jesse" last="McCulloch"], 6’8 C Lutheran East 2024: McCulloch struggled offensively on Friday, but his rim protection was incredibly valuable for C2K. McCulloch was around the rim all the time on defense, blocking shots and grabbing defensive rebounds. C2K would send drivers of the basketball near McCulloch to try and allow him to contest the shot. McCulloch also did a good job of not fouling on defense. The offense has a ways to go, but McCulloch has a lot of potential and projects as one of the best bigs in Ohio’s 2024 class.</p>
