Prep Hoops 2K21 Preview: 2022 Names to Watch KS/Colorado Area

<p>Our preview coverage of the Prep Hoops 2K21 in Indianapolis this weekend starts with the big time names playing in the 2022/17U class out of Kansas and Colorado. We will have updates and coverage from all the action going down with the Kansas and Colorado teams throughout the weekend so stay tuned! This event will be one of the best grassroots events of the summer.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Kansas- KC Spurs Black, KC Spurs Silver, SSA Elite 2022 Black</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="889456" first="Antwaun" last="Massey"], 6’8 F, KC Spurs Black: Massey hands down will be one of the top overall athletes that take the floor at the event. His wingspan and overall length is something that just can’t be taught and he can absolutely get off the floor in a hurry with his leaping ability. Handles the ball well, can score in a variety of ways, and runs the floor for finishes at an elite level.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="891913" first="Jaron" last="Briggs"], 6’4 G/W, KC Spurs Black: An athletic combo guard/wing hybrid player who has a versatile skill set. His long ball has improved tremendously which takes his offensive game to another level. Explosive off the bounce, can get to a pull up jumper, makes plays in transition, and is a tremendous rebounder and defender. Also a threat to create a highlight or two in each game.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1042406" first="London" last="Taylor"], 6’4 G, KC Spurs Silver (2021): Has had a tremendous summer run so far, scoring the ball at an extremely high clip. Can get it done from multiple areas on the floor, is really aggressive on offense, and has some big time athletic ability. Taylor has a ton of upside for the next level.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="891912" first="Nahcs" last="Wahwassuck"], 6’5 G, SSA Elite 2022 Black: The long, versatile, and athletic guard will look to continue to display his complete game which accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists per game in the second live weekend. Also a willing and great defender from the 1-4 positions and can rebound and get the break going quickly.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="891917" first="Zaid" last="Dajani"], 6’4 SG, SSA Elite 2022 Black: A gifted scorer of the basketball and a top tier 3 point shooter, especially of the catch. His mid range pull up game is also lethal and he is quick and athletic enough to make scoring plays up and around the rim. Has really long arms and active hands on the defensive end.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Colorado- PLUTO Prospects and PSB</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1046034" first="Cameron" last="Lowe"], 6’5 SG, PLUTO Prospects: The 6’5 guard made the second team all tourney team down in Dallas last weekend and is primed for another big time performance in Indianapolis. An elite shooter and at 6’5 can get his shot off in a wide variety of situations. Can handle the ball in the half court and get himself looks off the bounce as well as maneuver on the perimeter and get great looks.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1080835" first="Joel" last="Speckman"], 6’8 F, PLUTO Prospects: He is the epitome of productivity on the basketball court. Is active on the defensive and offensive ends, rebounds at a high clip, finds open teammates on kick outs for great looks. Can knock down shots, score in the painted area, and is always in the area when a play is made.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="918906" first="Aidan" last="Kuhl"], 6'1 G, PSB Denver: Had a 47 point performance down in Dallas last weekend and just dominated from the perimeter throughout the event. The lefty let's it fly from deep and he can fill it up in a massive hurry. He is someone you have to find in transition of you are very likely to give up 3 points. Attacks closeouts well and can counter his shooting game with a really solid intermediate game.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
