Caleb Chavers, Crete Monee (2024) – In Example Sports 2024’s first game for the weekend, Caleb Chavers lead the floor like a veteran. Chavers stood out on the offensive in their game against the Iowa Mavs 2024 Purple squad. He sees the floor very well, and makes smart, crisp passes. He didn’t force his shots, and was very good at knocking down the open looks he got.
Zavier Fitch, Brother Rice (2024) – Playing alongside Chavers, Fitch was on the receiving end of his good passing. At 6’5″, Fitch uses his height and length very well on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he is very solid in the post. Defensively, he uses his length to block shots and bat down passes. He’s very good on the boards on both ends as well.
Peyton McKenna, Germantown (2024) – McKenna lit it up from three-point range Friday night, finishing with 5 made threes, and 21 points. When defenders try to push McKenna off the three-point line, he has the ability to finish in the paint and create for teammates.
Cade Kohnen, Marquette University (2024) – Alongside McKenna, Kohnen knocked down 4 three balls, and finished with 16 points in their Friday night win. Another knockdown shooter for the 2024 Academy Chapman team, Kohnen can do more than shoot. He is solid on the other end of the floor as well, having active hands and being active on the boards.
