Grassroots Team Spotlight: Mid Mo Elite 17U

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its spotlight on grassroots programs around the state with a look at the Mid-Mo Elite 17U, a group of talented players from the middle of the state. In two tournaments on the Prep Hoops Circuit, they have won all eight of their games. They will be participating in the Prep Hoops Live event in Kansas City this weekend.</p> <h4>Roster</h4> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1070119" first="Nate" last="Brandt"] 6’2" Fatima: A talented 2023 shooting guard with excellent range and the ability to attack off the dribble.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1140667" first="Trynnen" last="Gray"] 5’11" South Callaway: A nice combo guard who handles the ball with confidence and shoots the 3-pointer.</p> <p>Brysan Jeffries 6’2" Blair Oaks: A solid lefty forward with a high basketball IQ and excellent passing skills. He’s also a standout on the Falcons’ state championship football team.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="992312" first="Quinn" last="Kusgen"] 6’1" Blair Oaks: A talented shooting guard with range that extends well beyond the 3-point line. He can also get buckets from all three levels as he averaged 20 points a game for the Falcons’ Class 4 state Final Four team.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="992311" first="Tanner" last="Lanes"] 6’3" Harrisburg: A versatile lefty wing player with good playmaking skills as a passer and ball handler. Can shoot it or score on the drive with his size.</p> <p>Trevor Myers 6’4" California: Solidly built forward who can score on tough drives and knock down 3-pointers. Averaged nearly 20 points a game as a junior.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="984504" first="Luke" last="Northweather"] 6’9" Blair Oaks: A Class 4 All-State big who is one of the most dominant front court performers in the state. The skilled forward averaged 27 points and 12 rebounds a game in leading the Falcons to a third-place finish in the state tournament.</p> <p>Isaiah Reams 5’10" Mexico: A smooth lefty point guard who led the Bulldogs to a district championship and a berth in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. Very quick on the dribble penetration with a nice pull up jump shot.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1180599" first="Lee" last="Verslues"] 6’0" Fatima: Talented point guard who penetrates into the lane well with a nice perimeter stroke to go along with it.</p>
