The wheels are slowly turning for George Perkins George Perkins 6'8" | PF Sidwell Friends | 2022 State MD as he continues growing into his body and begins gaining full command of his movements. The towering 6-foot-8 forward is comfortable spotting up and knocking down perimeter jumpers routinely, but is becoming more forceful on his dribble drives. Perkins has always been and continues to be a tremendous communicator on the defensive end, and this will benefit him long-term.

AJ Thomas AJ Thomas 6'3" | SG Georgetown Prep | 2022 State MD first emerged onto the scene as a shooter, but he’s developed into a much more complete player in recent months. The development of his physique is evident and has helped him attack the basket more confidently and efficiently. One thing that Thomas does that won’t show up on the stat sheet is rotate defensively. He is adept at drawing charges which is an indication that he is willing to consistently do what it takes to win games.

Adam Angwafo Adam Angwafo 6'7" | C Bullis | 2022 State MD has the tools to play college basketball at a high level. He’s physically capable of guarding multiple positions in part because of his length and agility at his size. Angwafo is still nowhere near his ceiling and it will be scary for foes when he begins to approach it.

Logan Blair Logan Blair 6'3" | SF St. John's | 2022 State MD is one of the better defenders you will find in our 2022 rankings. He is physical at the point of attack, moves his feet well laterally, and attacks the glass aggressively. Blair’s contributions are often unheralded yet frequently effective for his team.
#73 | Michael Henderson Jr.
Coach Sid McCray is stoked about the prospects of having Michael Henderson Jr. running the show at Goretti next season. The compact lead guard keeps the ball on a string and is impossible to stay in front of. Henderson’s low center of gravity and elite quickness could help him become a truly menacing on-ball defender down the road.

Kyle Pulliam Kyle Pulliam 6'3" | SG Good Counsel | 2022 State MD comes from good bloodlines. His older sister, Lindsay, is a distinguished player at Northwestern University. The younger Pulliam has grown a few inches over the last 12 to 16 months. He is a shooter who is dedicated to his craft. It wouldn’t be smart to bet against him being a good college player in the future.
