5’8 SG Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT , Cyprus High School
When it comes to teams preparing for other teams it was obvious that Diego was on everyone’s scouting report as he was rarely left alone and many times you can here players on the floor and on the bench tracking him all over the floor. Diego is quick and is dangerous when he gets his feet under him. When it comes to knocking them down when feet are set Diego is up there with the best of them. Diego averaged 10 PPG this season playing against some tough teams and in the highest classification. Diego made more three’s than any other player in all of 6A with 73 made. That is absolutely impressive, especially when teams are all over him. Only two layers in the entire state made more three-pointers than Diego. Next year we expect Diego will expand his game but also increase his range.
6’0 G Lance Reynolds Lance Reynolds 6'1" | PG Orem | 2024 UT , Orem High School
Lance was a player that really took advantage of his time on the floor. Lance has that it factor when it comes to talent. Lance had flashes of brilliance this year. He can score at different levels and he is great at creating for himself and others. While 5 PPG isn’t much it will be a great building block moving forward as Orem will have some solid young players enroll this up-coming season and some other players will fit in nicely with what Lance can do.
6’9 Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT , Juan Diego Catholic
Malick is older for his grade and it shows, his mature game was dominate against other seasoned bigs. He knows how to position himself low on the block and lead his defender one way and finish on the other side of the hoop. His long wingspan is a valuable tool for him as he can haul in rebounds and throw down almost any lob thrown his way. Impressively enough is his ability to shoot the ball. He has a bit of an odd looking shoot but he can line it up. Moving forward he could be a force, especially with Juan Diego moving to 3A, there will be nobody at any of the small schools that will be able to stop him.
6’2 KJ Miller KJ Miller 6'3" | CG Layton | 2024 State UT , Layton High School
KJ has a mature game that places him in all the right places on the floor. He can run 1-3 for Layton and he got a lot of experience that will come in handy especially with a lot of upper classmen that have graduated. KJ shoots the ball well but he is not subject to just shooting three’s. KJ has a great mid-range and pull-up game that is impressive at his young age. Don’t be surprised if he is 6’5 come next year as well.
