Devin Grainger Devin Grainger 6'1" | PG Conway | 2024 State SC – Conway HS – Ascend Ballers
Grainger played up for his Ascend Ballers and helped the squad win its bracket championship. Grainger a left-handed guard really can get the ball downhill to the rack. Grainger a multi-sport athlete also excels on the gridiron for the Tigers. Grainger plays the game very mature for his age and sure doesn’t lack any confidence on the floor. Grainger averaged 18 ppg this weekend for the Ascend Ballers.
Montreal Jenkins Montreal Jenkins 5'8" | PG James Island | 2024 State SC – Cathedral Academy (North Charleston) – Low Country Elite 2024 (pictured on front)
Jenkins sure isn’t big in height but he has the ability to fill up the score sheets with points at times. Jenkins plays off the ball for the most part and isn’t afraid to pull-up from behind the 3 point line without hesitation. Jenkins a confident player played was very instrumental this season for the Generals in a run to the SCISA Class 1A semifinals in Sumter.
Kai Murdock Kai Murdock 6'5" | SF Wando | 2024 State SC – Cathedral Academy (North Charleston) – Low Country Elite 2024
Murdock rebounds the ball very well on the both ends of the floor. Murdock who’s mother played college ball at Gonzaga does all the little things to help you win games. Murdock is extremely active from block to block and just covering ground all over the court. Murdock has the ability to finish around the rim and really understands his role on this LCE 2024 team.
RJ Simmons RJ Simmons 6'0" | PG James Island | 2024 State SC – Cathedral Academy (North Charleston) – Low Country Elite 2024
Simmons a combo guard really uses his body well to draw contact to the cup. Simmons is part of a 3-headed monster for the Generals basketball program in the SCISA Class 1A level for Head Coach Blake Ferguson. Simmons was the Region Player of the Year this season for the Generals.
Yannick Smith Yannick Smith 6'3" | SG Summerville | 2024 State SC – Summerville HS – Low Country Elite 2024
Smith saw good minutes for the Green Wave this past year and Head Coach David Long. Smith plays both guard positions in the back court and seems most comfortable playing out on the perimeter. Smith has a nice mid-range game to go along with his ability to knockdown perimeter jumpers.
Quadir Scott Quadir Scott 6'2" | CG Socastee | 2024 State SC – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach – Low Country Elite 2024
Scott a left-handed guard plays the game with great athleticism and length. Scott picks up plenty of deflections on a given night with his activity in the passing lanes. Scott a rangy guard brings big energy to the floor along with a aggressive style of play at all times.
Terrence Smith Terrence Smith 5'11" | CG South Aiken | 2024 State SC Jr. – South Aiken HS – Carolina Lakers
Prep Hoops got its first look at Smith Jr. today with the Lakers squad. Smith Jr. plays the game with a great deal of confidence and some swag. Smith Jr. was able to connect on some three pointers from downtown along with bringing a very competitive edge to the game. Smith logged a lot of minutes for Head Coach Marcel Harley.
Jasaan Faulkner Jasaan Faulkner 5'10" | PG St James | 2024 SC – St James HS (Murrells Inlet) – Horry Select
Faulkner a point guard is the leader of the ship for Head Coach Alvin Green and his local based team from the Grand Strand. Faulkner plays the game at a good pace and is for sure a pass first point guard. Faulkner is always on the look out to set up his teammates with a crafty pass. Faulkner played a great deal of minutes for the Sharks on the varsity level this past season.
