Bergen County basketball is one of the Garden State’s best as it houses some of the state’s best. The 2021 class is filled with talent, but there are still available players who can make an impact. Here are the top available 2021 prospects in Bergen County.

[player_tooltip player_id="900363" first="Aidan" last="Kehoe"], 6’10 PF/C Pascack Hills

Kehoe had a breakout 2021 campaign as he established himself as one of the top big men in the county. The 6’10 post player knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Kehoe has a good release on his free throws, showing the ability to step out and shoot the jumper. He is a strong rebounder and uses his length to swat shots around the basket. Kehoe’s stock is still on the rise and would be a great get for any program at this point in the recruiting cycle.

[player_tooltip player_id="900290" first="DiAri" last="Duncan"], 6’8 PF Bergen Catholic

Duncan provides the Crusaders with a physical body down low, which is what they needed down low this season. The New York native does not mind mixing it up down low as he is not afraid of contact. Barry sets good screens in the half court and rolls effectively to the basket. He can score down low and is tough to box out on both ends of the floor. Duncan may be more of an old school big, but his toughness and energy will get him early minutes in his collegiate career.

[player_tooltip player_id="900384" first="Danny" last="Lans"], 6’0 CG St. Joseph (Mont.)

Lans was a complimentary scorer for last season’s Bergen County Jamboree winning team, but he stepped up as the go-to guy in his senior campaign. The athletic 6’0 guard can finish above the rim and attacks the basket with a purpose. Lans is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. He plays with quick hands on the defensive end and is a strong rebounder for a guard his size. Lans’ athleticism combined with his play-making makes him an intriguing prospect to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id="1012964" first="Joe" last="Carroll"], 6’7 SF/PF Don Bosco Prep

Carroll played in a loaded Ironmen frontcourt, but was still able to make his mark. The 6’7 forward has the ability to play either the three or the four at the next level as he can score around the basket, but also put the ball on the floor. Carroll has the potential to stretch the floor and is one of the better passing frontcourt players in the class. He is a tough rebounder and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Carroll’s ability to affect the game in multiple ways should be enticing to college programs who need a forward in the 2021 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="900338" first="Sebastian" last="Giannotti"], 6’2 SG Saddle River Day

The Rebels had a strong 2021 campaign as Giannotti was able to put his full game on display. The 6’2 lefty has a nice release on his jumper and does not force shots in the half court. Giannotti is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and works hard on the defensive end. Giannotti is a tough, two-way guard who will be able to make an impact early in his collegiate career.
