We’re cruising down the stretch towards the postseason and I wanted to bring back a fun article idea from a couple of years ago. Most basketball fans are familiar with the NBA league pass where you can watch any NBA game regardless of where you live. Here’s a rankings of the most fun to watch Kentucky high school teams in my opinion.

North Laurel - They are the highest scoring team we have seen in Kentucky in a long time and between [player_tooltip player_id="932765" first="Reed" last="Sheppard"] and [player_tooltip player_id="932771" first="Ryan" last="Davidson"] dunking and [player_tooltip player_id="1133847" first="Clay" last="Sizemore"] hitting 5 or more threes per night, these Jags play a very exciting brand of basketball and are my top choice if KHSAA League Pass is a thing.

Lexington Catholic - Catholic was already fun to watch with their 5 out offense and pressing defense but with the arrival of [player_tooltip player_id="1118821" first="John" last="McCrear"] last month, they’re now playing above the rim more consistently and have two guys (with [player_tooltip player_id="1088851" first="Reece" last="Potter"]) who are rejecting shots at about 12-15 blocks per game. Not to mention [player_tooltip player_id="604116" first="Ben" last="Johnson"] can go for 40 on any given night.

Male - As if [player_tooltip player_id="932764" first="Kaleb" last="Glenn"] alone wasn’t worth watching, [player_tooltip player_id="923001" first="Cam" last="Pope"] can become the human torch from outside at any time and the Sophomore duo of [player_tooltip player_id="1022262" first="Kyran" last="Tilley"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1065569" first="Meechie" last="White"] are two of the highest upside guards in Louisville in the Sophomore class. Coach Haworth likes to press and run and that makes a great viewing experience.

Ballard - With [player_tooltip player_id="932766" first="Gabe" last="Sisk"] running the wing and [player_tooltip player_id="926882" first="Maker" last="Bar"] dunking everything he can get his hands on, Coach Renner has a very exciting brand of basketball. Keno Hayden, Chaunte Marrero and [player_tooltip player_id="801616" first="DJ" last="Tilford"] are all double figure scorers and there is a long tradition of cutting nets at Ballard every year. If you have a chance, check out these Bruins.

George Rogers Clark - Coach Cook has taken the NBA style of play and applied it to high school. The Cards are shooting a lot of 3s and layups and playing the analytics game. They’ve struggled a little lately but once [player_tooltip player_id="692930" first="Jerone" last="Morton"] gets back healthy to go with [player_tooltip player_id="923008" first="Jared" last="Wellman"], Trent Edwrards and [player_tooltip player_id="926892" first="Aden" last="Slone"], they’ll be back to the high flying offense they were in December.
