We now examine the top wings in the 2022 class! These are the highest ranked prospects at the position in the latest PHI Rankings!

[player_tooltip player_id="863582" first="Jaden" last="Schutt"] (Yorkville Christian)

Ranking: #2

The elite shooter continues to display his all-around skill set. He has always been known as one of the best shooters nationally in 2022. That continues to be the case with his lights out mechanics and quick release. Crisp passer, gets to the rim for layups with a burst, finishes above the rim on lobs, and brings his toughness to the table in addition to his shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id="863588" first="Kam" last="Craft"] (Buffalo Grove)

Ranking: #7

The Buffalo Grove 6’4” small forward is a creative wing that can really shoot the rock. Loves drilling threes from the corners and running into them in transition. Also mixes in mid-range shots and shows bounce off the dribble including explosiveness at the rim. Receiving mid-major and high-major offers.

[player_tooltip player_id="925224" first="Nick" last="Martinelli"] (Glenbrook South)

Ranking: #9

Martinelli is a crafty combo forward similar in many respects to his older brother who is now a walk on at Northwestern. He scores in transition repeatedly with nifty finishes at the cup. Very efficient as a scorer in the paint converting dump offs, getting on the glass, and scoring on post ups. Aggressive taking it to the hoop on straight line drives with good footwork. Creativity as a passer that can play some point-forward at times.

[player_tooltip player_id="996059" first="Jeremiah" last="Talton"] (Quincy)

Ranking: #11

At 6’6” this wing is a big time athlete with major bounce around the hoop. Shot it at a 40% clip from three last season showcasing a free and easy release with a projectable game and helium heading into the second half of his high school career.

Patrick Robinson (Oswego East)

Ranking: #12

Robinson is a wing that broke out over the summer with Hoops Intensity Training after not even playing varsity as a sophomore. Strong bodied wing that can score from all three levels and brings a physicality to the guard spot.

[player_tooltip player_id="1048713" first="Kamryn" last="Thomas"] (Hillcrest)

Ranking: #14

Very intriguing prospect with a long and lanky frame to go with a smooth offensive game. He drills an array of feathery jumpers from three with a smooth release off his hand. Deep range on his shot. Slick takes to the hoop in both the half court and transition weaving through defenders. Flashes some passing flair and defensively his length plays well blocking shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="863592" first="Darius" last="Duff"] (Lake Forest Academy)

Ranking: #16

Duff impressed this fall in the Illinois Wolves workouts. The scoring combo guard is a high level shot maker from both mid-range and three. The wiry guard has a burst off the bounce getting to the rim. Can play some on the ball in a pinch as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="863619" first="Ben" last="VanderWal"] (Timothy Christian)

Ranking: #21

VanderWal is a jumbo wing that is mostly known for his shooting. Big wing that can absolutely let it fly from beyond the arc with elevation off the floor. In the Breakaway scrimmages it was his athleticism that the jumped off the floor. He was a beast in transition throwing down several monster dunks running his lane for scores. Also could handle it on his own taking it coast to coast for scores and threw a no look dime.

[player_tooltip player_id="863598" first="Bobby" last="Durkin"] (Hinsdale South)

Ranking: #22

Skilled wing had his feathery mid-range jumper working this fall as they were falling left and right. Puts it on the deck including strong straight line takes for nifty finishes at the cup. His passing feel was something we had never really seen out of him before. Showed a good sense of getting others involved in both the half court and transition this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id="996060" first="Caden" last="Pierce"] (Glenbard West)

Ranking: #26

Pierce is a strong bodied two guard that can knock down shots. Plays within himself and he knows his role. Also a sound passer from the wing making those around him better both on his high school and travel team.

[player_tooltip player_id="925192" first="AaReyon" last="Munir-Jones"] (Tinley Park)

Ranking: #27

This two guard has quietly become a D1 prospect over the last year. He knocks down jump shots and gets loose in transition. Really like what he brings defensively getting steals and taking them the other way.

[player_tooltip player_id="863584" first="Tye" last="Banks"] (Springfield Lanphier)

Ranking: #28

The Lanphier guard can play both on and off the ball. The strong bodied guard was primed for a breakout season for Lanphier with his ability to impact the game in a variety of ways.
