Today is National Signing Day for college football. On this day every year we release our All-Basketball Football Team. To be considered for this the player must be a ranked basketball prospect, but would make an outstanding football player. Here is our Offense!

Quarterback

[player_tooltip player_id="920940" first="Anthony" last="Sayles"] (Niles Notre Dame)

Sayles holds his spot for another year as our signal caller. The Niles Notre Dame QB in real life is also an athletic floor general on the hardwood with athleticism. That decision making and mobility fits today’s game perfect.

Running Back

[player_tooltip player_id="765240" first="Trent" last="Howland"] (Joliet West)

The Indiana commit for football is a powerful running back that will be our downhill runner and goal line back. Also a very underrated hoops player that is a junk yard dog on the court.

Running Back

[player_tooltip player_id="921005" first="Bucky" last="Irving"] (Hillcrest)

Another Big 10 running back from the state of Illinois. Irving first came on the scene as a young athlete as more of a hoops player, but turned into a standout running back who will head to Minnesota. Still a standout guard for Hillcrest.

Scat Back

[player_tooltip player_id="863587" first="Jalen" last="Quinn"] (Tuscola)

Quinn is excellent at being slippery on the court with the way he weaves in and out of the defense. On our football team he will be our pass catching back.

Wide Receiver

[player_tooltip player_id="771516" first="AJ" last="Casey"] (Whitney Young)

You want a big receiver? How about the best 2022 prospect in the state at 6’8” with elite athleticism and movement skills. Would be a nightmare for defenses in the red zone.

Wide Receiver

[player_tooltip player_id="821735" first="Ben" last="Schwieger"] (Waubonsie Valley)

This Loyola commit is a quick twitched athlete with speed and leaping ability. Should fit nicely with his 6’5” frame next to Casey.

Tight End

[player_tooltip player_id="529051" first="Bryce" last="Hopkins"] (Fenwick)

The Kentucky commit is a big bodied forward that fits perfect as a tight end. He is a mismatch on the gridiron as well with his ability to be physical and high point passes.

Left Tackle

[player_tooltip player_id="925226" first="Martell" last="Webb"] (Westinghouse)

Webb is an emerging 2022 talent that is a big bodied post with excellent footwork. He will be a perfect pass blocking left tackle.

Right Tackle

[player_tooltip player_id="529038" first="Chris" last="Hodges"] (Schaumburg)

The Wisconsin Badgers commit is a long armed right tackle that can be a mauler in the run game. Has great footwork and strength.

Guard

[player_tooltip player_id="863629" first="Sam" last="Bradbury"] (Mattoon)

Bradbury has a wide body along with mobile footwork. He will be our mauler on the interior!

Guard

[player_tooltip player_id="1049511" first="Antonio" last="Leavy"] (Rockford Jefferson)

This bulky 6’6” center will fit in perfect on the offensive line with his size and athleticism to be able to get out and pull in the open field.

Center

[player_tooltip player_id="863632" first="Dawson" last="Algee"] (O’Fallon)

This junior is an undersized four on the hardwood, but has excellent size for the center position in football. Quick pivot man that is tough as nails.

Returner

[player_tooltip player_id="939057" first="Dalen" last="Davis"] (Whitney Young)

Davis has the strength, speed, and vision to be a great return man.
