Ashton Janowski Ashton Janowski 6'1" | CG Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – Pewaukee – 2022: More excellence from Janowski this week. Had a few plays on Tuesday that wowed me. He perfected his handle and is a certified floor general. A better scorer than some may give him credit for. Was efficient and productive at all three levels.
Triston Obst – New Berlin Eisenhower – 2021: He entered the game posting a ridiculous average of 31 points per game. He racked up another solid total tonight. He’s lightning quick with the ball in his hands, and burned the defense with a few moves. A seasoned finisher. Also, has a knack for drawing contact. Caused a few Pewaukee players to get into foul trouble.
Josh Terrian Josh Terrian 6'4" | SF Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – Pewaukee – 2022: A solid game offensively on Tuesday. Looked much taller in his game today. He often cut into the center of the defense, making himself a pass-target. Hit a nice corner three and played with great effort defensively.
Will Brust – Greendale – 2021: Brust garnered first-team all-conference honors after his 2018-19 season, and has been steadily improving since. He dropped a cool 38 points and 10 rebounds on Monday night, hitting five threes and going 13-15 from the free-throw line. The long, sturdy guard has a physical side with his play, and as a natural athlete, he excels across the board. Monday was an example of how good he can be when he gets going.
Jaquan Johnson – Pius XI Catholic – 2024: A kid on our watchlist for 2024. He dropped 21 points in his game Monday night and is second on his roster in points per game.
Chris Morgan – Kaukauna – 2022: Morgan dropped 40 points on Tuesday. This comes a week after he dropped 35 points in his opener. He’s made strides in his efficiency this year, now shooting over 50 percent from the field and 90 percent from the free-throw line. He already has a West Virginia offer, but this year could put him on the recruiting radar for more schools.
Kobe Johnson Kobe Johnson 6'5" | PG Nicolet | 2021 State #240 Nation WI – Nicolet – 2021: Port Washington doubled Johnson the second he caught it. Still, he showed off his passing chops, delivering effortless dimes to cutting teammates. He knows how to place it on the dot and throw passes with heat. Scoring-wise, he dominated down low. Although he’s a guard, he could position himself on the block to gather offensive boards and finish strong. Finished with 28 points.
Owen Pawlikowski Owen Pawlikowski 6'3" | SG Kimberly | 2022 State WI – Kimberly – 2022: The guard got out into transition early, giving his team momentum with strong fastbreak finishes. A great athlete at the position, which shows on the defensive end, too.
Cal McGinnis – Kimberly – 2021: A pure shooter that’ll be a great asset for Kimberly this season. Knocked down his first four outside shots. The guard has a quick trigger and is always spotting up to shoot.
Parker Lawrence Parker Lawrence 6'0" | PG Hortonville | 2021 State WI – Hortonville – 2021: Last year, Lawrence shined as a scrappy defensive guard and budding floor general. Now, Lawrence has become nothing short of dominant. Averaging 30 points per game, he’s clicked offensively, especially with his three-point shot. He’s even better as a passer, too, mastering the shovel pass in the lane. Not to forget, he’s also putting up these numbers in one of the more consistently solid conferences in the state.
