Ron Holland Ron Holland 6'9" | PF Duncanville | 2023 State #7 Nation TX – Power Forward – Duncanville – 2023
Top-ranked forward in Texas, future NBA prospect, Ronald Holland Ronald Holland 6'9" | PF Duncanville | 2023 TX was by far the best rebounder in the gym during this game. He showed a great eye for the ball, his timing for when and where the ball would come off the rim was impeccable. Holland was the first player to touch the ball every time it came off the rim, he even showed a quick second jump. His defensive presence was spectacular also, very long-standing reach, no one could get a shot off on him when his hands were held high, forcing Horn to settle for jump shots. Ron Holland Ron Holland 6'9" | PF Duncanville | 2023 State #7 Nation TX is a high-level athlete that is one of the best players you’ll find anywhere.
Frisco Wakeland 63 vs JJ Pearce 44
Liam McNeeley – Forward – JJ Pearce – 2024
Starting forward, true freshman, Liam McNeeley, got things going for the Mustangs by scoring their first points from deep with his quick trigger jumper. McNeeley plays with a great feel for the game for someone his age, his intangibles are phenomenal and his instincts are on a higher level than most other athletes in high school, he always knows exactly what to do and when to do it. The ceiling for Liam McNeeley is incredibly high, he’s becoming one of the biggest and most prominent names in the class of 2024.

This lefty, power forward with an all-around skillset is one of Texas’s top 45 ranked prospects. Not only is KyeRon Lindsay KyeRon Lindsay 6'9" | PF Denton Guyer | 2022 State #112 Nation TX one of the best passing big men in the city but he’s also one of the most skilled. A remarkable distributor and dribbler at his position, KyeRon displayed some point guard tendencies with the way he handled the ball and looked to pass first. A lot of the offense ran through Lindsay, he was the creator for his team, driving the ball, kicking it out, and also looking for open guys in transition. He looked very comfortable running the floor, there were plenty of times where he got out and free and pushed the ball in the open court, it even led to him throwing down a strong one-handed slam dunk. KyeRon Lindsay KyeRon Lindsay 6'9" | PF Denton Guyer | 2022 State #112 Nation TX is everything you could want from your big man in today’s game, he has a high basketball IQ, he has elite court vision, he can make just about any pass on the floor, he can create his own shot off the dribble, he knows how to control the pace of play, and control the boards. This young baller is different and he still has a whole other year to continue to improve and expand his game.
Boswell 33 vs Flower Mound 39
Desmond Combs – Power Forward – Boswell – 2021
Desmond Combs, starting Senior power forward for Boswell looked like a solid stretch-four in this game. He excelled when shooting spot-up mid-range jumpers, Desmond’s sweet spot was in the short corner where he was most efficient and often left wide-open. 6’6, Combs showed the ability to spread the floor out to the high post as well as the perimeter and still be effective.
McKinney 71 vs DeSoto 53
Alex Anamekwe Alex Anamekwe 6'6" | PF McKinney | 2022 State TX – Forward – McKinney – 2022
This dynamic McKinney forward is returning from a Sophomore season where he was awarded the district Defensive Player of the Year honor and now he looks like he’s ready to take home the district Offensive Player of the Year award this season. Against DeSoto, Alex was in full attack mode any time he touched the ball. He showed the ability to be an elite player both inside and outside of the paint. Anamekwe had an extremely strong post performance, easily finishing through contact from guys his size and bigger. Alex was also a knockdown shooter, particularly from the right corner. DeSoto didn’t account for him beyond the arc on a number of occasions, leading to wide-open 3-point attempts in the same spot over and over again, and Alex made sure to make them count more times than not. He also did an exceptional job when passing out of the post to open guys. Alex Anamekwe Alex Anamekwe 6'6" | PF McKinney | 2022 State TX may be our biggest stock risers thus far, he’s put on a show and dominated each and every game this season, and it seems like he’s only just getting started.
