Corey Cofield, 2021, West Ranch – The athletic slashing wing was in his element in this event as his motor and quick-twitch instincts accounted for multiple productive performances. Cofield is a great transition offensive threat with his ability to fill the lane, cut into the paint and finish through or above contact. The 6-foot-5 senior also showed his defensive versatility and high rate rebounding from the wing position.
Ashton Hardaway Ashton Hardaway 6'7" | SF Bishop Montgomery | 2023 TX , 2023, Bishop Montgomery – Hardaway slowly but surely continues to expand his game and become more efficient and consistent on both ends of the floor. the 6-foot-7 wing has a smooth jumper with a fluid follow through and connects on perimeter jumpers from the face-up mid-range level and from behind the arc.
JoJo Hunter, 2022, San Joaquin Memorial – Hunter was one of the top prospects regardless of class in this event. The 6-foot-5 junior wing has a little bit of everything in his arsenal from jump shooting to slashing and finishing to setting up teammates for open shots. Where Hunter truly thrives is turning defense into transition offense. His length and instincts help him tip passes and disrupt passing lanes which turns into easy transition buckets on the other end.
Leviticus Latu, 2021, Independence – The Bakersfield-based guard is as steady as they come and, from what we saw, was one of the more consistent three-point shooters in the event. The 6-foot combo guard plays with great energy and confidence on both ends, can operate on or off the ball, and has deep range from multiple spots of the floor both off the catch and off the bounce.
Dasean Lecque Dasean Lecque 6'0" | CG Bella Vista Prep | 2022 State #207 Nation AZ , 2022 Desert Vista (AZ) – The younger brother of Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Lecque continues to make a name for himself on the west coast. At 6-feet-1, Lecque has that true combo guard feel in the sense that his ability to create shots for himself and teammates in the open court and in the slow-down half-court setting. His combination of quickness and ability to change speeds and directions on a dime makes him a tough cover in isolation.
