Trinity Christian Junior Guard Freddie Dillione: In their first game of the season he put together a very impressive performance with a game high of 36 Points and 8 Rebounds. He does a nice job of taking high percentage shots and not settling for the outside shot too often although he can knock down treys at a high rate.
New Life Christian Junior Guard Malachi Travis Malachi Travis 6'2" | CG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC : With his squad missing two of their starters and leading scorers, he put together a nice performance to lead the way for his team. Scoring 27 Points in a victory to help break a 3 game losing streak for their team, he made plays in transition as well as knocking down the midrange shot.
Northwood Temple Junior Guard Jaquantae Harris Jaquantae Harris 6'1" | PG Northwood Temple | 2022 State NC : Hands down one of the best guards in the area, Harris is continuing to grow as a PG. With his team getting out to a big lead early on, he used the opportunity to not look for his own shot but get all of his teammates going and confident.
Fayetteville Christian Junior Guard Brian Thompson: The main contribution that he brought for his team was his on ball defense. He does a nice job of constantly pressuring his opponent without picking up any type of silly fouls but making things as difficult as possible.
Trinity Christian Junior Guard Cam Oates Cam Oates 5'10" | PG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC : His role this season clearly has increased and he looks like he’s ready for the moments. He understands how to use his speed to his benefit, blowing past defenders for buckets in the paint or forcing the defense to collapse so that he can make the correct play for teammates.
